I have found some info about this TD in the Wiki of the Ru site . I dont know how accurate this info is but it seems they are going for the Glass cannon line of TD´s , Sturer Emil bring a tier X type of weapon on a very slow and fragile hull

*Tier IV:Marder III
*Tier V:Dicker Max
*Tier VI:Nashorn
*Tier VII:Sturer Emil

I found this video in the EU forum about the Jadgpanther 2

Good find!

I can't wait to try these.  I wonder how the Max will be for earning credits.  105mm K18 at tier 5?  Step aside KV!   :Smile-izmena:

The shells will be expensive though.

Nashorn is is a step down from dickermax?

I still wonder how that's going to work.

Hmm, that does seem odd.  Nashorn seems much better as tier 5.

But the Sturer Emil?  Yes please!   :Smile-playing:

I'm inclined to agree with that.
The 88L71 and 105L52 are really side grades but the 105 really and truly should be above the 88L71 if for the alpha alone.
Also am I reading wrong or does the 88 have a significantly worse aim time than the 105L52?

From what I can tell, the 88mm gun on the Nashorn is going to have literally double the RoF as the 105 on the Dickermax [which is going to be EXTREMELY low, 6rpm/ 10 seconds per reload, a nerf that I can't exactly disagree with]. The 105 is still probably going to render the KV's and SU-85's 107, with its lol accuracy and considerably lower pen and lower alpha damage, obsolete. The long aim time is kind of stupid, but not too important to a sniping TD. Its also strange that the 88mm L/71 also has a very long aim time on the Tiger and Panther II.

and HOLY SH** 560 alpha, 276 pen, .29 accuracy gun on the Sturer Emil!? Yeah, I guess 4 rounds per minute [15 seconds per reload] is absolutely awful, but OH MY GOD! SU-152 OBSOLETE!

EDIT: The only disappointing thing that I see is that we might be getting the "ugly" version of the Marder III. I was really hoping for the Ausf M variant that is in Company of Heroes and Saving Private Ryan.

EDIT2: The Marder III is going to have amazing view range [460]. All of the tans in this line seem to have excellent view range. However, the Marder III and Nashorn both seem like they're going to be relying heavily on their RoF. Unfortunately, both tanks have VERY LOW ammo storage [24-40 on Nashorn, 38 on Marder]. The Dickermax is going to have a very low ammo count [26] and the Sturer is going to have a very, VERY low ammo count [18], but they both have low RoF's so it doesn't really matter as much.

Looking at the sturet emil is it's only going to have a gun traverse of 5 degrees one direction and 7 in the other direction that's slim.

Tanks like the new tier 5 German light and Sherman are going to looooove these. One shot from their derp guns and kaboom!! Seriously though, gonna play the hell out of these, I love glass cannons like my SU-85!

Edit: Theres actually a disclaimer on the page saying the stats are just suppositions on the part of the author, so lets not get ourselves too worked up.

They are very much like direct fire arty. If you stay at range, expect to die. If you get close they are fairly helpless.

No one say ANYTHING about these guys being OP, that is Taboo. Just keep your mouth shut, we don't want these guys nerfed before we actually get to use them now do we?

If you've played TDs and arty before and survived hits in your TD, imagine the same hits if you were driving an arty. That's why people call these glass cannons. If you get flanked in one of these you are gonna be pooched big time.

I know, but the 105mm K18 L/52 at tier 5 is a bit much. I think they should reverse Dickermax and Nashorn.

Since this is all guesswork I'm going to write down a few of my own thoughts regarding reasonable guns for each TD.

Marder III  7.5cmL70
Dicker Max  8.8cmL56 maybe the L71 but the 10.5 is entirely overpowered
Nashorn     8.8L71 maybe the 10.5L52
Sturer Emil 10.5L68

For the last one there I wanted to avoid the 12.8cm simply because it becomes far too much like the Ferdi in that instance just unarmored where a higher rate of fire 10.5cm gun would still allow a lot of firepower and penetration, particularly if given decent camo and maneuverability.

The Dickermax will get the 105mm because it was the gun used on it in real life, that's why Dickermax and Nashorn should be switched.

Yeah if you can't escape the 105 on the Dickermax then it really needs to be switched, it does more damage then the Su-85's 107 with much better accuracy and the Su-85's already on the very cusp of being OP itself.
