Quite like that Seeds tune. Never heard of them. What happened to the players I wonder?

The first albums I ever bought with my own money were Uriah Heep - Magician's Birthday, and Alice Cooper - Killer. Later that day I went back and got Deep Purple - In rock.  The latter somehow left my possession along with a few other things like the first album I was ever given, the Five Man Electrical Band, but the other two I still play at times. But I also ordered Look at Yourself from a record club, along with Yessongs, but they went under and I lost my money and never did get the album at the end of it all.

There are just so many...but let's try...

"If you stand up for what you do believe, be prepared to be shot down"

This song is 50 years old, and is every bit relevant today as then...

Spoiler

But, "It's a Beautiful Day"...

Spoiler

But then I ask "13 Questions"...

Spoiler

And in the end, sometimes it seems just like "I Talk to the Wind."

Spoiler

But, maybe all is not lost...

Excellent choices.  Quicksilver was a fav of mine back in the 60s & early 70s.  Very solid progressive rock band IMO.

One of my favourite bands and definitely favourite lead guitarist. But the breadth of their work almost unknown this side of the pond.

The Raiders were solid.  interesting and tragic history story: The Charlie Mason "family" intended to murder Raider's lead singer Mark Lindsay.  He angered Charlie in a chance encounter.  Lindsay had rented the Tate house from producer Terry Melcher.   Instead these nut-job criminals found Polanski and the pregnant Sharon Tate, Lindsay had recently moved out.  Sad.
