Cowcat137's hurtful accusation aside, I do look at stats for the purpose of keeping track on how I'm doing.  I don't LIVE for the scores, like so many, but they are a useful tool.

I'm not sure which of the carousels I'm currently using, but it looks like this:

My question is about the DMG stat.  As I read that, it's how much damage I'm doing in that tank compared to .... what?  Average damage for that tank over the game?  It doesn't look like HP for the vehicle.

I'm presuming the colors are game-based - in other words, my tanks that are purple and blue are doing well, but, for instance, that Chaffee is sucking hind teat.

But why's the M41 blue?

I don't know the MOD you're using, but I assume you're talking about the xx/xx which I first thought was average damage compared to HP, but it is not the case.

My next suspicion was on average damage done Vs damage taken, but that's also not the case.

My last suspect is your average damage against the server average for that tank.

These are just what my initial thoughts were and ruling them out as I went.   I don't use mods except for MOE extended to gauge my target par.   Can you tell me which MOD this is?   I'll give my garage a go over with it to confirm.

I believe Jake & MG, below, got it right.

The "compared to what" is the "average expected damage" number. I use a different mod to display this, but my numbers are the same as yours, and my client gives me a little "downloaded new expected tank values" or something similar when I start the game client.

I believe the "average expected damage" is from XVM or WOTlabs, but don't quote me. Maybe it's server average. It's basically just a gauge as to how you're doing. When you start getting to "par" you'll also start picking up MOE's, by coinkydink. Of course, there's a different mod for MOE progress. :)

I'd think it's your average vs the average for that tank on the server (or the expected value)

FWIW,  WoTLabs does not publish the expected values anymore.  The XVM team publishes the expected values on a daily basis.  That is one reason that MOE's are a little more dynamic that they used to be.

Independent stat websites update the expected values and their stats as they see fit...

You?  Indeed.

Your comments, however....I will probably cry myself to sleep tonight.

Thanks folks - bottom line is looks like Mr. FTP is doing okay in a couple places.
