So, I'm back after a long break (I tend to play for a couple of months then stay away for a year, then come back and repeat). I remember hating my T34 tier VIII premium a lot, to the point of letting it rust in my garage. The aiming time, sluggish mobility and weak hull just made me despise it. I know the superpershing is slow too and the gun is weak, but how does it fare today, in 2020, compared to the old T34? Does it still have special mm? Despite its drawbacks, I've always had a soft spot for it. What do you think guys, is it worth the trade? If not, what premium tanks are currently fun to play?

If you want US tank then go for T26E5. It is a Heavy Pershing, effectively a T32 which does not suck.

From other nations Strv, WZ-120 and Lowe are good picks.

I think YES - I do not have the Super Pershing but I had the T34B and I did not like it.  I have the t26e5 and I agree that is also better than the T34. I hope to get the Super Pershing sometime soon. Plan to trade in the Chrysler K if I can. Bought that in the Black Market and it is fun when top tier, but difficult otherwise.

I find that trading a Tier VIII Premium for another tier VIII Premium to be a horrible deal financially. 2k in gold difference might make me trade but certainly not 6.4k in gold.

It was worth it to me to trade the skinned Mauerer for the unskinned, just so I could decorate it they way I wanted.  Got sick of the silly old skin the put on it.

I have to plug the super P, it’s one of my favorite premiums. It has decent armor and the gun is good enough, especially against medium tanks and considering it doesn’t see tier 10.

I have all three. The T34 pays well if you are good in it, but it's not as easy tank to play. I like the Super P a lot better, and have always done well with it, even after the "nerf".

That said, the T26E5 is the one to get, markedly better than either of the others. One of the Top 5 prems available, imo/ime.

I'm almost inclined to go with this. I've always believed T26E4 has had a bit of a bad rap, and is a much better vehicle than people give it credit for. Probably because it's rated as a medium, but really plays more like a heavy than some of the US heavies do. The gun is consistent, the armor is a pretty good saving throw, and the gun turns quickly and accurately. Yes, it's a bit slow.

T34's main problem, I think, is the reload. It punches hard, but absolutely needs support. Especially if the shot misses, it's going to give the opposition time to act and there's not much to be done about it.

That said, if you're the sort of person who works slowly, and tries to work in conjunction with the rest of the team, T34 is both effective and, in terms of credits, profitable. However, if I had to choice between buying a T26E5 and a T34, I think the T26E5 will have it. It's not a true heavy capable of taking on other heavies, but it's reasonably nimble and the 90mm is plenty good enough, especially with APCR as a base ammo, to play like a heavy against mediums and lights. That said, I'm not convinced I'd actually sell T34 to get the T26E5.

Black market has offered tier 8s for silver.  Buy one of those in the future, then use it for a trade.
