Does anyone else think Rng should be revised, currently i aim with a full circle and then my shot goes outside the circle. I hate how stupid random it is and how much it ruins your match especially when its game deciding whether you make your shot or not.


I aimed at a grillie at 250 meters with my 60tp fully until the circle stopped, i shoot and my round goes outside of the circle complete like really???


i think its too much with Rnjesus ruining your game and your potential.

I understand RNG has a place and there shouldn't be none in this game but the amount of RNG is just way too much and impacts too many things related to your shot.

Dial it back to just 20%.   That would help.

Honestly just scaling back the range of variation will help a lot.


+/- 15-20% really is about the max you want without making things super trolly at times.

I like it, makes the game interesting, sometimes a red will miss the kill shot on you because of it and save you the game, sometimes you miss the kill shot on the red. A little bit of random is good!

If you aren't happy with that, try shooting at closer distances or getting a gun with better accuracy.

agreed. imagine if it was slightly more accurate on fully aimed shots, but slightly less accurate with snap shots? the person whi can fully aim faster might have an advantage, like my grille 15 missing 6 shots in a row on the side of an is7...... unacceptable, but i can snap shot a moving light with my fv4005 for 1900?..... also [edited]lol

Two things OP.

First, do you have server reticle on?  Lack of it combined with high ping and/or packet loss is a leading cause of shots seeming to go outside the reticle.

Second, do you have a replay of this event? Iirc, the odds of a shot going outside the reticle are minuscule, like less than 1%.  But I will admit my memory isn't the best.

I've noticed the guns sometimes suddenly begin behaving exactly the same as when they are hit and broken for a whole string of shots. But if the gun is actually broken I can use a repair kit. When it's "RNG broken" there's nothing you can do but wait for the game to decide you're allowed to hit what you're aiming at again.I don't think RNG works the way many people think it does, and WG isn't exactly forthcoming on the details.
