I could have copied and pasted everything in there for you. However, it just seemed easier for you to read the whole news article and ask questions here.
I posted -1 to express my opinion about changes to equipment. I didnt have anything new to add about changes, cause everything was already posted.

I dropped 4 large on the game at christmas, I got all the free tanks they offered and over 100k in gold along with 198 days worth of premmy account. Needles to say I don't need to spend another dime on this game and from the looks of the direction it taking, I think I'll spend my money elsewhere. Not that it will matter much to WG since there are plenty of fish that will just keep putting money into this aging game.

The age of the game isn't the problem (look at World of Warcraft) ...
I believe the real problem here is the willful march down the road to FPS Shangri La, a la Call of Duty ...
It's all about a new crop of twitchers, cuz Benjamins.
'fore long, WOT will have flying tanks.
Oh wait ...

They made it clear the equipment which is on the tank can stay on the tank it is on, no matter what the value but for example if you have coated optics on a tier 3 light which is worth 500.000 credits that coated optics will become a class 1 coated optics worth 600.000 credits. It states it can stay on that tank even so that tank would need a class 3 coated optics as you say which is worth 50.000 credits. Once you take that class 1 coated optics off your tier 3 light you will not be able to equip that to it again as it is obviously for tier 8 - 10 vehicles... There is no loss in value there at all
What is an issue is when you have 120 Binocs currently fitted on your tanks which will all become class 1 binocs. Now the adding of new equipment means some of those tanks may not ever be equipped with binocs again and I do not have many more tanks to get so I will have excess amounts of binocs I have to sell for 300k and I will need more credits to buy the new equipments. Another thing is if I ever take any binocs off my tier 5 - 8 tanks after the update I will never ever be able to put them onto them again as they will be class 1 binocs only suitable for tier 8 - 10 tanks. again I will never need to buy stabilizers, rammers, binocs or coated optics again. If anything Ill have too many Ill have to sell because lets face it I'll properly kit some tanks out with some of the new equipment pieces ...
Remember, you will only be able to leave a piece of equipment that is the wrong class on a tank until the next update, when it will be automatically moved to the depot

I find myself in agreement with 99% of the posters on this topic - this is Not a Good Idea.
The equipment as it stands today is not really a problem that needs fixing.
I don't understand why the WG never ever seems to listens to the players???
The best improvement for this game would be MORE MAPS. I don't care if they
are not perfectly balanced either. With a lot of new maps you would find so much
variety that would not be a problem. Completely different (unexpected) map layouts
would be fantastic!!! Now I know that Nobody Expects the Spanish Inquisition, but
just for once throw out something new - if you get a lot of negative waves from it
just try another one... MAPS MAPS MAPS

Heck if you want a Special Event how about a real Road to Berlin as follows:
Make everyone on a team the same Nationality - American/Brit/French or
Russian/American/Brit or German/Czech/Italian. Get rid of the overtarget
markers so you actually have to recognize your target. Just like in real life
you would need true teamwork and be much more careful of friendly fire.
Have an almost endless number of new maps from Normandy --> Berlin or
Stalingrad --> Berlin with all that varied terrain in sequence.
I reckon it would be much more difficult and much much more interesting.
Nah, it'll be fine.

"Your CC's at WG are well aware of the complaints about the compensation for the equipment. We are doing our best to represent our NA players. Stay up to date on the forums and news articles for additional information on these changes, and how they are going to be implemented."
We have seen your 'best'. Please stop doing that as clearly its not working.

Agreed, I have about 570 tanks in my garage, all the tier 10's in the tech tree, why am I not getting 1 demounting kit per tank? Seems rather unfair.
All the equipment are dismounted... Correct me if im wrong.

If it ain't broke (and it ain't), don't fix it. I don't see Equipment 2.0 being an improvement. A lot of the new stuff is still largely irrelevant. The rest is potentially game breaking.
That said, thanks for chiming in.
The actual quote is... " If it ain't broke your not trying hard enough.. "

Candidly, I feel for KRZYBooP and the support staff for the rest of the regions. In one word, the equipment 2.0 update proposal is asinine in every possible way. It doesn't actually make equipment management easier to understand for the new player and on top of that it serves to alienate EVERY player who has bothered to voice an opinion.
All this serves to reinforce a long-held view of the developers in Belarus: They don't actually engage in regular game-play and grind out lines and they have no affinity for the players begging and pleading for specific changes. How and the word do dedicated champions like KRZYBooP manage to stay motivated and represent the game is beyond me.
But its about the money bottom line developers don't care to play but care to code plain and simple. WG wants to make money as much as possible and I bet WG has a bonus structure for the devs to come up with ingenious ways to prop up the bottom line within the game. How to make a player pay more!

The Dilbert from 1995 comes to mind ... I'm gonna code me a minivan. Except in this case is isn't for resolving defects, it's for designing and coding features than no one has requested.

Ah like 20 cup holders lol ya Dilbert one of my favorites since it hits the nail on the head. Its amazing common sense is missing when it comes to programs - when I coded many a year ago my first thoughts were how would the user use this program based on design criteria a pretty simple thought and when I wasn't sure I would ask the user base relevant questions to get a clear picture - it saved a ton of revisions before implementation rather than after it was launched. Does WG listen to the NA user base I don't know?

They did hire a FPS dev to head things...so that explains a lot. As soon as dude was hired like 2yrs ago, maybe a bit longer, things really started changing. More BS and less quality ever since.
