I want WG to write a toggle to block EVERYTHING all at once.

 

No more insipid drivel in chat, no more stupid, incessant map-pinging, no more canned F-key / Z-wheel  spam ...

 

No more child-strategists or teenage generals.

 

No more need to blacklist any but the most obnoxious twits ...

 

All of it gone with the flip of a switch.

I can see the virtue of total removal of all these features and it can be a good thing but a bad thing as well.  However, I don't think you will ever see it.

How about you send thru proper channels a suggestion/demand to WG. Then if the game isn't already shut down by the time you get a reply get back to us with when this will happen.

Why all the idiotic comments to a reasonable request?

 

 

 

There is absolutely no reason that disabling chat can't also turn of the most abused aspect of chat, which are the battle commands.  Yet, disabling chat doesn't do a damn thing to stop the map pinging and other mostly useless battle commands.  If you don't mind those pings and abuses, that's fine, but why the ignorant responses and reactions to those who would like to avoid it completely?

 

Blacklisting won't work, because there is a limit on the number on your blacklist, unless you choose to run a mod - which I assume messes up your game every time WG adds another game update.

Just block the offender for the battle in battle and move on really.  I see like one person in twenty battles that does this so it isn't a big issue.

Maybe you and the Karens best friend have not noticed the enhanced pin wheel being touted and implemented? WG is not going to eliminate the social aspect of a game for any reason and have more than enough ways to avoid or stop any you don't want. Why should everyone in the game have to lose something that most apparently want in the game. Simply because your BL isn't long enough? Trust me if there are that many folks you have to black list the problem is you.

 

Now Mr TwistedKilt is another story. He loves the autocratic oppression, subversion of rights and terrorist application of abusive power. Think his way or your privileges are removed.
