Howdy Boom Jockeys!

Don't listen to players that message you in-game with this non-sense.

If you get one of these please submit it to support. This is not cool or tolerated.

If you have seen other players doing this stuff let others know :)

At least one other player posted this very same scam on the forum within the last 10 days ...

Seriously, if you fall for crap like this, you deserve everything that happens to you.  Kind of like the folks who fall for the calls from "Windows" claiming there's tons of problems with your computer.

Give yourself that extra layer of protection from phishers. Enable mobile two-factor authentication.

Fyi this has been happening for few months now. Guess reporting it to support does nothing.

Also just got randomly chat banned. Ok bud.

It's good to see that WG is concerned with protecting the name(and shame) of someone that they are at the same time warning us about... smh...

This has been going on for months, I've received 6 of these messages so far.

The first time, I made a post here but got a warning for "naming and shaming" a phishing account with 0 battles, so yeah...

The thing with Phishing is that there are many of them.

Agreed, but there are some that are older and not as tech savvy with the internet as a lot of others, they far to often fall prey to these scumbags that are running the scams.

Got one several days ago and because no official message on the forums appeared, I erased it and forgot about it until now.  Next one will be duly reported, if support will stop erasing tickets.
