Sure this is beating a dead horse(ish) but I've now seen two different vids from two different main CC's about insane view range on tanks in-game with the equipment change. The EBR's were already wreaking havoc. I know several are excited about this unnecessary move for whatever reason. I can't share that excitement at the moment...time will tell. Negate the camo of the enemy tanks? Hiding behind bushes of little to no value? Hmmmmm....

Even the russian players are disgusted with this.  Says alot.  The company is tone deaf to the player base.  I cant ascertain the motives for this beyond greed and incompetence, but Wargaming continues to act in a fashion that is astonishingly  opposite to  what the players want.

I haven't seen this stupid a decision in a very, very long time.

Well, I guess it makes passive scouting useful again lol.

As I've posted in the past, don't bother protesting with your words.  Protest with your wallet.  IF enough players protest with their wallet, it is possible (however unlikely) WG might listen.  Words clearly don't work.  A profit crash might.

I haven’t dove to deeply into the scout changes for the wheeled vehicles. Are they still excluded from having the binocs and the new commanders improved vision system? (or whatever it’s called). If the wheeled cancer gets those then games will be worse on an unprecedented scale.
To be fair about the RHM Flipwagen, it’s still trashy and that view range will be quite map dependent.

What's idiotic about the clown cars are the gun and it's ability to survive hits.

I have to say I never thought I would see something as dumb as the 9.18 9.19 update which rebalanced Lt tanks and ruined the mm for almost 2 years but this seems to be monumentally stupid.I mean i could be wrong but the more I look into it the dumber equipment 2.0 seems.

You don't have to.  When complainers like pukeybaby are whining about it, it's bad and no further investigation is needed.  This is a very bad decision by WG.

A MUCH more balanced review of the Equipment 2.0 Scouting equipment:

This new equipment can be installed with accompanying trade-offs to combat capability.  The above video is using the CURRENT version of Equipment 2.0 gear.  There have been at least two versions since QBs posts.

So, if you want to turn yourself into a complete Target of Opportunity than go ahead with QBs equipment loadout.  One of the funny things about his later video is that [edited]AMX 13-105 being chased out.  Dude was likely running binocs and a camo net, was late into position, and equipped his tank to be useless for anything other than bush wanking.  And, it was the EBR that blew him out of town.  Also, note that QBs team actually had to advance to contact to make use of his vision.  Had his team been as timid as the opposition QB would have just died in place.

No, but they want to give LTs a reason for being.

Everybody is whining that MTs have the same VR as LTs and therefore LTs are useless.  Well, now the LTs get buffs if they place scouting equipment in a scout slot.  OPs example is a lark.  Nobody should equip their tank to be that one dimensional.  In a way, he even pointed that out in his example games.  Dez was completely dependent on his Muppet Team to shoot and damage the tanks he lit.  Not a safe thing for a LT.

There may even be a chance to break open the east flank on Erlenberg without resorting to a suicide run.  Likewise, the west flank on Prokhorovka will become more vibrant and less of a sitzkrieg.

I will say that there is a gigantic target on passive camper play.  If you generally die on the A/B or J/K lines (and you are not arty) than some of the LTs you go against will get your feet dancing.  They will not be zooming around.  They will probe and initiate pushes as the campers light up.  I'm guessing here, but I also think double booshing will not be as effective against a CVS equipped vehicle.  The folks at B2/J2 on Prok are going to have to find their 'W' keys and fight it out before the game is over.

Call it probing it still sound like everyone will just move to lights for the speed.   I didn't put all your post here in the quote.  But what you describe on the maps you referenced especially Prok a square map with built in corridor shooting, there is no reason to play a medium or TD.   Seems like slug it out as a heavy or else go hunt in a light.   I'll give it the "WAIT & SEE".  I am excited to see what the new equipment will do, even though I wasn't thrilled with the change.
