The new equipment system improved my EBR, if I mount Purple Vstab, Improved Rotation, and Stabilizer Greasing directive, I get -40% to gun dispersion on the move and during turret rotation. With the old system I could only get -30% to dispersion because Purple Vstab was only -25% instead of the new -27.5% with Equipment 2.0. Thank you WG because now I can be even more toxic with my EBR 105 and make even more people mad.

View range is almost a non-factor with the ability to fly in an out. There is another build that can be massively game breaking on them with the new equipment which I wont promote on here just let the folks find out themselves.

Posting broken builds will be the new thing. Wargaming hated how Goating affected a relative handful of games, so I doubt they will be happy with what players are going to do to their tanks.  We'll get to find out soon enough.

As usual WG F***s up, let's the genie out of the bottle and then spends years "fixing" something that anybody could/should have seen coming. Seriously, goes WG have a bunch of rocks working in the "balancing" department?

One reason why EBR 105 is so OP is because it can hit the max view range and has the mobility.  Tier 8 / 9 wheelies are significantly less viable because of that view range limitation.

As for OP's build, it is going to work in certain situations, but it is basically useless in most situations because other scouts will see it seconds ahead.  Particularly in the next patch, a single tracking shot will drop its speed significantly.  So this is a terrible build.

The EBR 105's mostly useful ability has always been spotting.  IMO, the broken build will be the build that uses Commander's Vision in place the Rammer.  Sure the DPM drops a bit, but the ability to spot hidden tanks is increased significantly.  This makes active spotting quite a bit safer as it no longer has to get as close.  This what people are afraid of with equipment 2.0.  If you have not seen how bad it can, go watch QB's video.

But with this build my tank can live up to the “point and click”

Maybe ten will become so unpopular that Minsk actually takes notice.

As others have mentioned, a wheelie’s view range isn’t much of a limiting factor.  It’s their ability to encroach into the view range of the reds and quickly dart about to escape - often surviving with minimal damage or impact to its mobility, even if you one can hit them with any degree of efficiency.  The nerf  to its mobility occurring from enemy damage is a step in the right direction.

What seems to be skipped in the conversations of builds with new equipment is the mediums. Look at the potential for the Bat Bourrasque 48.5 camo rating now and 700+ vision. Play with some new modules on that one.

Perhaps a seldom used TD like the Grille. You can get aim time of 1.16 with a small loss of DPM combined with a dispersion of 0.22 or a view range of 562-985 who needs a scout right. The patch is stupid really its has so many things that can break the game or maybe the broken parts of it level out the last five years of being jacked up by WG I don't know yet.

Imo, much of the player base doesn't understand or play their tanks to their strengths as it is...even if the Bourrasque has insane camo and vision, many except the elite don't recognize how to take advantage of it's abilities.  No different than facing excellent players now that know how to abuse any tank they play.  Map/tank knowledge, and situational awareness will still dictate who reasonably succeeds at this game.

As I mentioned in a different post; '...yes, something will break, but it’s just another game adjustment that people will have to work around - like op tanks and wheelies.  Frankly, if this change shakes up the random meta, I’m all for it!  Adjust and adapt...makes and keeps the game interesting and challenging.'

So with that said, I'll wait and see like everyone else.  If something goes horribly wrong, it'll get worked out in a year or two  ;)

Good luck to all after tomorrow!

I think the bonus was reduced to 2 seconds instead of 4.  So it will be 16 seconds of being spotted instead of 18... fixed!?  Also, isn't the extra spotting from the crew perk only when you are aiming at the target?  So you would have to auto aim to keep them lit the full time...?  Unless it was changed "Any target within 10 degrees of your reticle automatically stays visible to you for an extra 2 seconds"

I'm still far more worried about the commanders vision system being able to see through 30 bushes 1/4 of the map away.

meh - i logged in, took a look at the new equipment interface for about 20 mins with a few different tanks, and logged out.  No desire to re-learn such a basic aspect of this game 7 years in.  Especially since a lot of hardcore players (as evidenced by the video above) have already figured out what stupidly OPd builds are now possible, and will basically rape the casual player for months until WG decides to fix it.

At the very least, my days of paying real money for this game are over.  Not sure if my days of even playing for free are over, but if today is any indication it sure looks that way.
