Are you actually serious.......?  You (I have a lot of words)turds can delay this but can't postpone ClanWars/MetalWars over July 4th?  HOW UTTERLY WORTHLESS....

Its not a "can", its a had to. Wargaming has no control over the shutdown of their country's internet. People like you who have no awareness of world events are the reason for your own frustration.

I see that reading IS fundamental.

As well as awareness of current events.

I think that many of you need some remedial classes, I hear that School is starting back up.......

IMO... hope you get better leadership. Europe's last dictator needs to retire, peacefully.

Folks, as a reminder: please keep discussions civil and politics-free.

Something I would like to personally ask you all to consider: Software and Hardware are replaceable. People are not. We have an amazing team of talented individuals working in Minsk, and while it's easy to say 'you guys should do x' or 'you guys should do y' - the safety and well-being of our team is an utmost priority. It's not quite as simple as shuffling some stuff around and assigning different staff to the product - or shipping a hard drive with the latest build to a different location where we can upload it to the live servers.

There is a pool of talent, knowledge, professional and personal relationships with our colleagues in Minsk, and all of that is extremely important to us.

Something you see pretty often on our forums and in our community is this 'us vs. them' mentality when talking about WGA Publishing vs. the Dev Team in Minsk; this is a good opportunity to remind ourselves that there no 'us' and 'them' - we are all part of the same organization, and as much as I hate corporate slogans, we used to throw around #OneTeam internally pretty often - and there is certainly quite a bit of truth to it.

Our colleagues in Minsk are not just our colleagues. They are our friends and family. Firing them all and reassigning their jobs to other people due to circumstances outside of their control would be completely unacceptable.

Their safety is important but all we can do is  give feedback to try be helpful in dire time for them even though were not over there we don't know the situation but all we  can  do speculate hope and  try pass ideas to be helpful and i am hoping it doesn't Impact WG and the staff too badly that this disruption has caused. If the issue in Belarus continues past a few  weeks into months  i hope you guys have a  plan or a plan of  action and know what to do once everyone is safe.

How would any of this affect price reductions?

sry your too stupid to know that wg has more then one office in the world.

Let me get this straight.

You believe that development resources should have been preemptively decentralised as a contingency against widespread political unrest?

Yes it does. No internet means no changes to anything run by WG.

why doesn't world of warships dev team over in st.petersburg take over for awhile? I mean don't you guys have a cloud server where they could simply download the data and then do updates?

:teethhappy: would if I could!

That's weird, I haven't seen that forum error before, but much like our game our forums are quite dated so I'd chalk it up to one of those quirks unless the issue persists.

why not just have a giant sale of every premium tank available for a day, the ones that are not overpowered like your T-44-100 or the E75 ts or Kv-5 just a thought.

No one knew this would happen and I doubt that any viable solution exists besides, letting the world of warships developers somehow download a cloud save a backup of the game and letting them take over for a while on updates. Small updates like the ones that help maintain the servers. It's just a thought.

I don't know what their organisational structure is like, but if we assume that the dev teams are of roughly equal size (unlikely as WoT is a bigger game), it's almost certainly unfeasible to do this. Businesses would want these teams to already be running at or near 100% capacity. That's to say nothing of the resources that would be needed to cross-skill your resources and get them all across the other product - and some of those resources you need would be in Minsk, unable to leave.

Even if there was an uncompiled version of the game on the cloud, where would that be stored? A cloud server must physically exist somewhere. The most logical place would be local to the Minsk team, because they'd be the only ones working on it, so you're back to square one on that front as well.

Best option for them is to wait. Anyone who's on the internet and isn't a sociopath would see what's happening in their country right now and understand that there are legitimate challenges that take priority over non-critical changes to a computer game.

Game's still running. Delays will be remedied eventually. May or may not be compensation. Prayers for the safety of the dev team. RL is a biatch...

I bought premium tanks I have not even played yet. I have slowed down my play but still buy tanks. (you should see my storage shed - IRL - lol). Going over your tank list for discounted tanks and I see about 3-4 tanks I would like to add to what I would say has started to turn into a collects of your games tanks. Hope I do not turn on my computer one day and see your web site shut down. Been playing your great game since the Beta days would hate to see this game disappeared.

Thanks You Wargamming for the years of pleasure. Congratulation on the 10 years and wish you many more. Thanks to all the employees and big bosses around the world for bringing us together.

Love Always,

Drill

Lights are fine, your brain on the other hand...

Delayed does not mean canceled.

How many companies have backup plans that include the government turning off the internet?

Doesn't have anything to do with the internet?  Finishing, testing, packaging, and deploying a patch has nothing to do with the internet?   Are you on drugs?

Compensation?  Please be greedier... holy crap

You people are unreal.  Major issues in the world and all you care about are your pixels.

It said indefinitely sure that can mean unknown amount of time but let's be real. What happened with the Halloween event?
