Too bad they have it the same week as the last Act of the Anniversary.. only so many hours in the day - for those of us working.

Yeah this is what makes no sense to me. Even college students are going to be returning to school. Who the hell has time to play this much World of Tanks? The monthly Tank Rewards system is just as bad lately, you can't even get to Tier IV if you play a game a day.

Why would you guys expect WG to make a reasonable decision?  You've been around long enough to know better.

Couldn’t agree more... we essentially have a choice, grind the 5th key and “hope” there is a special secret prize that is worth it, or play Steel Hunter otherwise there is no chance of getting a tank for that mode...

Wow...so the alternative in place for not losing your rank in Steel Hunter is that now you have to be in the top 5 out of 20 to get any points at all in order to progress in rank...I can only remember placing that high once or twice at all last year, most of the time I was between 5th and 15th place.  Bring back Frontline please!

So Steel hunter has a tank that passes a lethal corrosive gas, just like my college roommate.

So during the same week, we have to grind Steel Hunter, anniversary act missions and the missions for the A46? Brilliant, just brilliant.

Well if my math is right and their information is also accurate, it looks like you can potentially get 1100 points per day simply by doing the daily missions, and you only need 4500 for the whole week. So farming damage is a viable alternative to ranking highly. This might not be too painfully grindy after all.

also part of steel hunter is to get good, you play battles, and you learn in your battles. eventually you'll learn where is all the loot, the best strats, etc.  soon enough you'll probably get to tier 15

I'll have to just rely on the daily missions...it's rare that I'll end up in the top 5.

Yep, all while they are giving out free premium time and I am trying to use that to grind credits.  Screwed it up again, WG.......

Any one else think it is a rip off mode. If you do not get to 10 or higher you lose silver to play it.

You guys really dropped the ball on this one with the scoring, I mean id like to call you a few choice names and REALLY tell you what I think of the mode...well the modes scoring....so.....unlike Frontlines...which was fun and seemed to reward all the players in some way..this one says screw you to anyone that didnt finish in the top 5....really??? REALLY???

This isnt clan wars, this isnt ranked battles....isnt this supposed to actually be a fun REWARDING mode people play like Frontlines?? Everyone could complete Frontlines and get the tokens with enough play...this literally excludes people that are not that good at the game(im fine currently im on stage 7 so 1/2 way through after playing about 6 hours off and on today...) but I know there will be people that will just never get a single token because if you're not top 5 you get screwed...the mode itsself is decently fun I dont mind it..the SCORING system is HORRIBLE...possibly in my 10 years the worst ever.....you dont have to give out a top of points but come on....how about this

Your scoring system(i think because u flash it up for like 5 seconds then it goes away):

1. 300

2/3. 200

4/5. 100

6-20 not a damn thing...and a hardy thanks for wasting your time

What would be a reasonable system:

1. 300

2/3. 200

4/5.  100

6-10. 25

11-15. 10

16-20 5

I mean that way if you finish 15th it STILL takes 10 battles to= your 5th place finish but youre getting SOMETHING at least...

I mean i get it in modes where its competitive and made for "better/advanced/elite" players

but you're telling the majority of guys playing this..thanks for playing here is your NOTHING....

and im thinking back to frontline mode....I think EVERYONE got SOMETHING at least...in this its top 5 or screw you apparently..

I loved the first version of Steel Hunter, but this is just horrible. Games are crashing (client just dipping out) or suddenly I am disconnected from the server, multiple times per match regularly. Even when you reconnect you will either then be facing off tanks that are at full HP forever, Zombie tanks at 0 HP, and/or your tank will be stuck as one of those too (you just cant see real HP). I can't even play to say anything about the new tanks because this is so unoptimized.

Never played this before. Gave it a few games, hate it. I'm going to yolo the tanks I see and go for the damage missions. Managed a first place and a couple second and third places. Will continue going for dmg missions though.
