I have not played for 4-5 years, decided to try it again. But wargaming.net will not connect to update server. I have tried turning off my antivirus and firewall, but still same message, even tried downloading it with anti and firewall off. Still nothing. So I guess new players or returning plays cant download and play. Probable for the best though, cause if they have this much problem with there new launcher, that tells me that there is sill a lot of problems in this game.

OP it and most (maybe all) of WG's PC games run through WGC now.  Technically you can bypass it and run from the files, but there is no reason to in my opinion.

 

BUT it is required to update the game.
