There could be a line of code in the mm to take into account whether you are in a premium account or not but if there is I believe it would put you in favorable matchups. And there could be code in for boosters that would put you in a less favorable matchup. However it is impossi le to know for sure because wg bas not explicitly said there was not. Just like the losing bucket theory. I know I have noticed if I am doing good I usually get top tier but if I am losing I get bottom tier mm.is mm accounting for my play to put me with other players on losing streaks. All of this is possible without us knowing about it. Saying that there is a certain percentage of battles that your play can influence the outcome even if mm is out to screw you and yes there are ones that yiu have no chance. But it is what it is and if you like playing wot then just play to enjoy the game and don't o erthink it.

Maybe they could do that.  Except that we got no evidence that this is the case.  And for me, I have personal anecdotal evidence that its not.  I have multiple accounts with both prem and non prem.  And I have similar win rates on all of them.

Actually, whenever I "win" premium on one of my Welfare Warrior accounts I generally do worse on it.  And I know that is simply because I end up playing as much as I can to maximise the limited prem time and this always results in me rushing into games and playing like rubbish.

Rule #1 of WR:

Don't worry about win rate.

Rule #2 of WR:

Don't worry about win rate.

Rule # of WR:

If all else fails refer to rules 1 and 2.

If you worry about win rate, it impacts how you play the game. Instead, always worry about putting yourself in position to get useful damage throughout the match, and win rate takes care of itself.

The very fact that you recorded all of this shows where your focus was. Avg Dmg > win rate- if you keep this at the top of your focus, you will win more.

This is certainly true. It is unfortunate that putting yourself in a position to get useful damage so often means you're making some other sucker on your team eat the damage for you, but I guess that's just an inherent part of the game. In the best situations everyone benefits from good teamwork and shares HP and I prefer that much more than farming damage as my teammates die, even if it doesn't look as good in the stats. As for the winrate taking care of itself, well, statistically over a large number of battles, yes. In any given battle? Still pretty much a total crapshoot. Dealing good damage certainly can't hurt, is the best I'll give it.

I run premium, didnt save me from 1 win of my last 12 matches tonight though.  Sure would be nice if that theory was true.

I have blackened curtains and a small red light in the corner (brings me back to military intel days at Misawa)... my eyes stay adjusted to the dark... then my wife opens the door and and blinds me....

She really laughs when she can tell it makes me screw up...

When you play with boosters, you feel inclined to make the most of them. And thus you push yourself into "extreme tryhard mode", which actually results in you performing significantly worse than you would if you were just playing normally. It's not the boosters, it's you.

This, 100%. Been proven by science 100 years ago. Knowledge is key

Sometimes my keyboard doesn't work and i don't realize it til I'm in battle, at least if tanks is the first I do after starting up the computer.  I have to unplug and plug back in the keyboard to make it work, which isn't a big deal but does take time.

Of course, knowing this, I should check the keyboard every time I start up my computer, but more often than not I forgot.

....sure. More likely your dog is secretly chewing on your keyboard and plugging it back in.

Replay or it didn't happen.  :sceptic:

The fun glitch I still get sometimes is that when I scroll the mouse wheel, it'll zoom to maximum.  Either way.  No in-between at all.  :amazed:

If I minimize the window and re-open it, the problem goes away.  But it did make for a few crappy games until I figured out the "minimize then re-open" fix.

Nope... she absolutely OWNS it... and laughs on the way out.  She's even known to WATCH me lining up on a target when I'm in arty... and just as I'm about dialed in (she knows what a reticle is...) she kisses me full-on with the overt 'smack'....  then walks away asking if I made the shot...

Costner's English accent is comedy gold.
