This is too funny!

This thing is scary ugly.

I first came across/heard of this tank during a Campinova game.  I was approaching the church, and saw an M6 (or so I thought).  I'm firing away with my 100mm on the T-34-85.  Nothing.  I'm like wtf?

After he destroys me, I see it's a M6A2E1, not the tier 6 M6.  I go to the wiki, and find that it's no friggin' wonder I didn't do any damage.

I'll think three times before I'll ever face (err, fight) one of them again.

Congrats to all who were fortunate to have made that purchase.

I made the same mistake when I faced one in the open field area in the middle of Cliff, with my T29.   Thought it was an M6 and I was lickin my lips, thinking mmmm..tasty!     I moved in to mow this tank down or even get close enough to face hug and totally dominate.   Instead I got close and realized it was probably even bigger than my T29 and it was bouncing my 105 shots with no problem while it got some good rips on me, eventually leaving me ripe pickings for arty.

Very cool monstrousity that I only faced twice with a tank and was poorer for it.

Yes I absolutly love getting tickled by T28's and even Tiger(II)'s. 1v1 it supprises them when they rush you thinking they have you, only to have every shot bounce as I blast through them.

Most tier VIII tanks I at least stand a chance against frontally in my Lowe, a few of them I can even take a couple on with a little work and come out alive.  No same-tier tank has ever left as much on an impact on me as the three M6A2E1s that charged me down death alley on Himmelsdorf. I was dead in seconds.

There is no map that makes me happier than Himmelsdorf in my M6A2.
Now if only they would close off those openings on the side of Death Alley, near the center of the map.
Then my M6A2 would be impervious to damage!!!! Mwa ha ha ha ha!!!!!!

It was worth buying just for the 15 vs 15 Easy 1 battles in the first few days of launch.  The Easy 1 is still one of my most-killed tanks because of that :D.

I love going into battles nowadays and having folks wonder WTF is that thing that is Tiered against an IS-3 or a Type-59.  Somebody will usually chime in that it is some crappy wallet-warrior tank for newbies.

I tell them Easy 1 drivers are VETERAN Newbs and not to disrespect my Rubber Ducky!

If they ever get around to implementing the tank market, I am so buying one.

I remember this thing. At first, I thought it was slightly crazy as the thing's so tall. Until I saw one take on the frigging IS-3 that was on my ass (Was an M10 at the time).

Still wish that Wargaming.Net developed some sort of special skin for BETA testers as well though. I definitely would have settled for that.

Haha yeah had a KV 5 find me the other day in mine after a T-95 banged me down to 65HP. I drove right into his face and started pinning his turret hatch I drilled him 7 times in a row and killed him. He bounced every shot off of me except for 1 0 dam crit on my view port. The Mutant 6 is a Steel Wall medal factory. I know that guy had to have been flaming.

They just nerfed the gold value of the tank from 10,000 to 7,500
I doubt anyone still owning one will be selling them, or care, at this point.

An E-75 bounced off my hull in the new 0.7.0 patch. I bet that was an unusual event for him.

Has anyone else noticed the Premium M6 isn't making money any more? Since 7.0 my T30 gets a better credit return in comparison with my M6. My mate says his Type 59 also lost its ability to make money.

I haven't noticed a change, although I've heard quite a few players complaining the same thing.

I noticed it isn't making as much money as it used to... though possibly that's because I'm damaging less stuff because of the reduced AP normalization. On a good game with lots of damage I still make the usual amount of credits.

I did notice something else though, it seems I rarely get to be on top of the list with this tank anymore and instead it keeps getting into tier X battles. I'm not really complaining... or maybe I am... I just wish that like some other premium tanks it could have slightly favourable MM. It's not as much fun when half the enemy team can penetrate you frontally while you can't do the same without really aiming for weakspots. On these occasions I drive it like a medium instead, and try to flank and surprise people... oddly enough despite being slower than most meds it's still feasible. I can do a lot of stuff with this tank that people don't expect it to do. But still, tanking from the front is what it specializes in and I have the most fun with this tank doing that so I would definitely appreciate it if WG would weight it slightly lower on the MM so it doesn't get into tier X battles too often.

Or maybe I'm just unlucky and others have a better relationship with the MM? I hardly ever complain about MM because even if you're down on the list you can still be useful or if a team gets stacked with certain tank types it doesn't necessarily mean an auto-win. But to be brutally honest I just like having my prem tanks be at the top of the list more often. I know, selfish right? : P

P.S. Love it when people shoot my tracks thinking it's easy damage instead of shooting the very wide strip of side hull above it. Half the time I only get track damage rather than reduced HP. Though large caliber guns still go straight through it and hurt me real bad.

Apart from Himmelsdorf, Artic Region is also a favourite if I start on the Eastern side. Ensk isn't too bad either.

As of 7.1 test1, the mutant M6 holds up nicely against new competition. Want to know the sound of a AMX-50 100mm?

They are rare, but I bet there are a lot lurking in garages.
As time goes on, further from the game grand opening, I get more and more comments when I play it.

After 334 odd games with this vehicle, I have finally broken the 100k credit EXP mark.

And it seems with the HE change, the tracks don't seem to absorb HE rounds.

Good post but you forgot about the kv-5.You might want to avoid ramming something that weighs 100 tons and can go at 40 kmph. Also, It can face hug very well as the kv-5 is around the same height, maybe even taller.
Not where it counts. The KV-5 is tall, but in a facehug it's best chance is shooting for a driver slit or the turret ring. The Mutant 6 should be able to get the cupola or at least a flat shot on part of the turret.
