Has anyone else noticed the Premium M6 isn't making money any more? Since 7.0 my T30 gets a better credit return in comparison with my M6. My mate says his Type 59 also lost its ability to make money.

I had a 117k round in my 59 last night, so I'm pretty sure it's ability to make money is just fine. It bears repeating though, after 7.0 you bounce shots more, which means less damage, which means less cash as a side effect.

I continue to enjoy my bobblehead M6 to this day. I'll never sell it. Its a great machine and totally worth keeping and playing. It'll be interesting to see how she stands up to french auto-loaders...probably not well, but i'm willing to try.

I read on here somewhere today that 7.1 will have a gift shop where you can buy the Mutant6 along with other "gift" tanks.

Thank you WG!! I spent 90 bucks to get a unique vehicle that your now gonna spam out to everyone for 80 bucks!

And just out of *how* many battles have you seen another Mutant 6 (platooned with you doesn't count)?

That 90 bucks was spent for the gold.  all 25000 worth.  The mutant 6 just happened to come with the package.

For people purchasing the mutant 6 in the gift shop - they only get 12500 gold and the tank for $80.  Us preorder folk had the better deal

I know this is selfish, but I don't like it if people can buy this tank. I rather see the M6A2E1 disappear from the servers completely when its last faithful owner quits the game or passes away or something rather than see its unique status become diluted by having it made commonly obtainable once more.

I want that the rest of us be given another chance to obtain it. I got wind of the WoT rather late so I never had an opportunity to obtain one of the gold + tank bundles.

I just hope it's another limited time offer thing like the original pre-order >_>
That, I can live with. Maybe as a means to make sure these tanks never go extinct as the few people who own it leave the game or sell them off.

Or by the looks of it, it might be restricted to RU server, which never had a chance to get the pre-order stuff as far as I'm aware. Guess I'll just wait until (if) the news is officially released for NA community.

@amade: I +1'd your post because I agree.
Please note: I did not negative rep those who disagreed.

Not trying to be salty with my first post but sometimes I feel like WG is full of poop, considering some of the things they say and do. IIRC, it was stated by mods or devs that it was one of the vehicles that would not be resold. I may be wrong but my memory is pretty good so, forgive me if I'm mistaken. :Smile_honoring:

I made a suggestion through Overlord that Original M6A2E1 owners be allowed to repurchase them (but no one else), if they have previously sold them.
Id didn't sell mine, and never will.  But, this wouldn't be quite so bad.  I love having a "special tank" that is also a great tank.

I love this tank, but I don't know if it's just me, but does it seem to anyone else like the repair cost is kinda messed up? or does WG believe that it's actually as good as the lowe at money making?

It definitely has a higher repair cost than the Lowe. The Lowe, from screenshots seem to have 9k repair as average. For the M6A2E1, it is always at 10k and would sometimes reach 11k.

I don't the M6A2E1 was ever meant to be as good as the Lowe in money making

It was never meant to because it does not have a 232 penetration gun. That is what makes the Lowe such a good earner because it can penetrate most vehicles easily. But in all honesty, all premium vehicles should be able to make the same amount of creds. But seeing as the Lowe costs way more to buy, then it should make credits easily.

Which I never got TBH. I always thought that they should have jacked the price up on the KV5 instead of the lowe. I get more 100k+ games in that baby than with the lowe, and with the stupid low cost of the 107mm round, the low repair cost, and the capped MM tier, it's always been a much better money maker for me.

I think because on average, a Lowes make more. The 232 penetration means it can reliably damage most Tier 9 and 10s. A Lowe can damage an IS-4 easily. A KV-5 and M6A2E1 would have great difficulty.

Looks like they finally implemented the gift shop on the NA server. For reasons supplied a few posts earlier, I feel a bit sad.

Which premium gift tank was it that receivers complained about it not being unique anymore after it became commercially available which then prompted Wargaming to rename the gift version of the tank to differentiate it with the ones people can buy with gold?

I know how they feel now, though I wouldn't go so far so as to ask WG to rename the pre-order M6A2E1... because such a measure is simply superficial.

edit: All the preorder tanks have been taken off the Gift Shop, it looks like WG is responding to the overwhelming amount of complaints regarding the tanks not being unique anymore. I'm no longer a sad panda :-)

Looks like I bought it just in time, saw it this morning and got it and I see now that its gone. Guess I was lucky.

Indeed, few people were. Just a few hours ago there were plenty of people whining about their tank losing its special status (me included), now there's plenty of people whining because they missed that small window of opportunity to get one :P

To be honest, I do feel sorry for those who missed out... but in order to stay perfectly honest I have to say I was also relieved that WG took it off the shelves. I just hope it stays that way.
