I could swear that they stated it was a one time offer and would never be available again, when they first offered it at game release?

I am very glad if they stopped selling it to the general public.
I do believe they should sell it to previous owners who chose to sell it, and regret that decision.
Kind of like a previously researched tank that you sold can be repurchased at later date.
I'm glad I kept mine.

is the tank a one time offer or was the deal (the entire package) a one time offer.  Depending on the way it was said, this could be a loop hole that they're using.

Clearly the package they were providing in the gift shop was hardly the same )good) deal as the one the pre-order people got (with the exception of the tank).

Terminology and semantics.

I believe the literal and exact quote straight from the interview was
"You will never ever see these tanks again"

Herp, guess it's not as vague as everyone thought.

Yup.

Please WG, bring this tank back to the gift shop.

I've wanted one of these since I started playing last May, and I saw it available for one day on the gift shop. When I got home from work I was going to buy one and to my dismay they had been removed. :(

I understand many people on the server will be upset that a 'genuine' tank is now available to the general public, but as was stated above I think a special 'one time offer' would be fair compromise.

That would allow players that were introduced to the game a couple months after its release that didn't have the opportunity at the pre-order packages the ability to purchase one and enjoy a piece of WOT history. The one time offer could last a week or up to a month, it would be at WG's discretion.

Just my .02

So, you did not listen to what we were told/promised back when the game was released?

He arrived after the pre-order deal
preorders were open from March 24th to April 12th.  His join date of May falls outside of that range.

I'm a casual gamer who earns 6 figures on my real job. The last game i was addicted to was diablo 2 but when i started playing wot last august, i was hooked and pobably spent over $500 in this game. I was dismayed when i found out this tank was available for a day. I have 3 wot accounts and eager to gift myselves this mutant m6 after i followed one in my t59. So instead gifted myself a lowe. I really wanted this m6A. Please bring it back.

theese things along with pz5/6 and a-32 are so rare i can probably count on 1 hand how often i see any of theese tanks :Smile_honoring:

Have all 3 sitting in my garage only take out the mutant 6 once in a while and rarely the A-32, the PZ V/IV is just rubbish on all accounts :)

Mutant 6 however can be fun specially with those French tanks unloading a full drum at your front and you just wonder why they are wasting the little amount hey have.

Lol its comical that folks don't want others to have a tank they don't even play.I see one or two every now and again, maybe 1 every 100 matches feels like.I think selling them again would make the presence of the 59s even less and add more diversity in the premium tanks present on the battlefield. Its not a benefit to the consumer or the manufacturer nor the present owners by keeping them rare whatsoever, but this is just an opinion. :)

Had I know the Mutant was available again, I'd have grabbed one, just to say I have every US heavy.  But I missed it originally, and missed it again.

I remember coming out of public Beta when I first purchased the heavy package. The first battle as all mutant 6's. so many people sold them for the credits and now they are rare (except for the one day they were in the gift shop). it might not be the money maker a lowe or 59 is but it is a blast to play!

I've started playing this tank again after all the heat from the gift shop debacle died down and the tank is rarer again. People would ask about it in battle and come over to have a closer look. I don't mind admitting once again it's gratifying to own a rare tank, and it still really is a fun and decent tank even with the French autoloaders running around poking holes in my sides and rears. I treat the new autoloaders the same way I treat any fast tank trying to flank me; situational awareness and tracking 'em dead. I also still encounter plenty of people trying to penetrate my front armor with futility, always brings a smile to my face.

I'm glad this tank is kept rare, I don't care how many -ve reps I get for saying it.

I stood toe to toe vs a T25 AT, and a KV-3.  I bounced every shot, and 2-shot the T25, and 3 shot the KV-3.  I wish I could have heard them. I'm sure they believed they had an easy kill in their sights, when I came around the corner and started advancing.

hmm, as someone else already necro'd this thread.

Have just watched one of these munch its way through my T29, 2 tigers, and a T32 (with assist of course) on Himmelsdorf with less than 40% damage at the time they won the match.

They really need to bring these back to give teh American line a proper money earner (assuming the up coming change around making the current T whatever tank into a premium doesn't work as well as the KV/LOWE/T59 does)
