So about 14 minutes ago, World of tanks released a video showing the five new Italian heavy tanks coming into the game coming off the P.43 Bis (https://youtu.be/FrJ_R8Kquho

- (ill probably get these wrong, they haven't released proper names, only speech from the video)

Tier 7: Carro Decalto P.88 (Normal Reload)

Tier 8: Progetto CC55 Mod.54 (Normal Reload)

Tier 8 (Premium): Progetto C45 (Autoreloader)

Tier 9: Progetto C50 (Autoreloader)

Tier 10: Rinoceronte (Autoreloader)

These tanks all feature a new addition to the Autoreloader, a special mechanic where if you are loading a shell and you already have 1 shell loaded, if you fire it will take half your time off the next shell loaded to compensate the time wasted loading a shell and firing just before it reloads.i, personally really like this idea and hope its added to the already existing italian mediums. these tanks look like a very balanced, and enjoyable addition to the game, and will give a unusual experience as these heavy tanks are extremely fast and smaller than usual. we have been asking for these to be implemented for a while, and they announced them almost a year ago. What do you guys think about these unique type of heavy tanks?

Does anyone know if these are REAL tanks or more from the imagination of WG? Italians mainly used US or Euro versions of tanks. Is this gonna be another "Luigi from the tank school was sitting on the crapper one day and thought up the designs for these vehicles". I'm not a big fan of fantasy tanking. :(

Never mind, just watched the video. More fantasy tanks. And even worse, more autoloaders. That's gonna make a lot of people real happy. More power creep. The mechanics of the autoloaders look amazingly similar to what Armored Warfare is fooling around with. I wonder if WG plans on eventually buying out Armored Warfare? I suspected that would happen for a long time, since the people over there don't seem to be able to run things successfully.

The video tells us they were design board models based upon upgrades in tank technology in the US and Germany during the post war period, up until the '60s.  None of them actually drove.

they explain in the video, these are tanks that are from blueprints or prototypes. they even explain where the italian got their inspiration (german leopard). there is probably a little fantasy involved, but the general idea is based around real blueprints, prototypes and tanks

Interesting, but it might push power creep.

Autoreloaders are more ot less fine if you can kill them easily with classic tonks, and have crappy dpm outside of burst abuse.

Luigis look to be MBT-ish enough to not be easy kills, and buffed reloader means they don't have "free kill" period of frenchies.

WG did surprisingly good at balancing poles yet another soviet MT line recently (although prem is so meta it makes it look op) so there is hope. But clippers are hard to balance, as they only shine when player has at least semi functional brain (10% of playerbase?).

Personally I'll go for them because with completed tech tree I have nothing else to go for :]

I think they look fine.  Everyone thought the IS-3A or double-barreled Soviets would encourage power creep but I don't find them to be any more difficult to deal with than any other heavies in the game.

Seems like the gun handling will be pretty bad to make up for the option to use the autoreloading gun.  But we really won't know until videos start coming out from supertest.

Those were not fantasy tanks, just not money for them to take them off the drawing boards.  Fantasy tanks are coming in few years, new Imperial line ...

Understand, bit of both prolly...but who knows...Tier 8 Prem and Tier 10 love fun!!!

Han Joachim Marseille...

Truly an Ace he saved a french pilot from death, played Jazz at Adolf Hitlers Birthday party, seduced his Kommanders daughter, continued to fight restlessly shooting down UnChivalrous P-40s, even with the news of his dear sister's death, putting up with his new prick of a replacement kommander, and shooting at the ground around his Kommanders tent to prove a point, only to die at the hands of Engine Failure. with the Title as Most Decorated man in the German military and Many Broken rules Hans Joachim Marsielle was an ACE.

Plays his favorite song, starting at about 40 secs in.  Enjoy...

Spoiler

Just more power creep to get people to spend money on racing up a new line and buying a new premium.

A couple wheelies with harpoons and tow lines should be able to take care of that easily.

No kidding. They said the line will be developed so as "not to break the current balance in the game" yet the Tier 8 premium can unload 1000hp worth of damage in 6 seconds? Yeah, that's sounds real balanced.

Well considering the T77 can do the same thing in 4 seconds I'd say it's pretty balanced.

The whole line looks cool and the T8 Premium looks like it will be a must-have along with it's medium brother...  They could shake up the current "best of" lineups, for sure... I wonder if the the Premium will be a part of Xmas boxes?

Yep..."designed by Luigi in the crapper" tanks. If you believe all that hogwash WG spews out about "blueprints of prototypes",  then I have some bridges for sale in New York that are really great deals. If the dang thing wasn't put into production and issued to the troops, then it's just a WG fantasy to make more $$ off of us. And with those autoloaders, it dang sure better be gimped HEAVILY somewhere else, or a hue and cry for nerfing will be raised. If you are considering going down this line, I would suggest waiting a few months before doing so. If these things just turn out to be "meh", then no biggie. But if they turn out to be OP supertanks, then expect the nerfhammer to hit them hard.

Hmmm...didn't know that (haven't looked at the T77 in detail since I don't like autoloaders because I suck at them). But I would still say the C45 is more OP-ish with the improved autoreloader system. We'll just have to wait and see the final product that gets introduced into the game.
