Hey all.

One of our fellow tankers need our help in real life. He is a clan mate of mine who lives in Serbia and is expecting a baby and his wife is about 6 months into term. Unfortunately there are medical conditions that threaten their unborn baby and there is a procedure that can save the child, but due to poor healthcare in Serbia, this comes with a pricetag of about 5000 Euros (3500 USD). This is the 3rd time they have attempted to grow their family, the first 2 times were unsuccessful in bring the child to full term (or at least enough to survive a premature birth). He has sold everything from his car to clothes he owns to try and get enough money for the procedure and has about half the cost. My clan has come together and raised 1800 of the 3500 goal.

I am asking any of us, who can spare anything... $20, $50, anything, this would be appreciated to help my clan mate and his family save their first child.

Lets all band together and show our compassion for a fellow player who literately needs a life saving procedure for his unborn child.

I appreciate everyone who reads this and thank everyone who does contribute.

Allowed :)

Under the forum rule 2.4 that states Charity posts not related to WoT can be allowed by an admin.

On that note, I hope that they get the best care.

I hope this gets closer to it's goal with the support of the WoT Community.

Not everyone agrees on things on the forums, but I know we can pull together as we have before to show our collective charitable side.

And another falls to one of the oldest scams there is on the internet.

This is not a scam. We are truly trying to help a clan mate put and save his unborn child. This has been verified by WarGaming staff. We are trying to spread compassion and support for a fellow player who is in a tough time in his life. He has sold almost everything he owns, even his car he needs to get to work with, in order to try and raise the funds for the procedure and is still short. He has taken extra work to save his child. People like this deserve all the love and support we can give, let's show him genuine humanity.

Thank you

I don't see why their clan members would donate over half the goal themselves if it was a scam. To think someone could earn that much trust just to throw everything away (including their future wot career) just to scam a people out of a couple grand? That's the equivalent of at most 2 months work for me at most, that would just be a really stupid thing to do. If the whole clan was in on it and nobody came forward to blow the whistle yet on it, I'd eat cardboard again.

I highly doubtful that this is a scam.

If WG approved the post I am betting it's no scam. If I was more settled in (finally not homeless after like 5 years of being homeless on and off) and established I would help. Also a thought... Perhaps doctors without borders or an organization like that might also help him?
