Legitimately wondering if anyone thinks this new pearl river map is any good because every single time I have played it its either south wins in a landslide or you die to fast to even care about the rest of the match.

Really?  When I spawn north the team usually wins from there.   Of course in saying so I am now tempting the gods of RNG such that I will never win from north again ....

I like Pearl River.  I like most of the maps, and have fond memories of nearly all of them.  Except Marsh.  That map can stay in limbo forever.

I much prefer the North spawn but I don't recall losing on one side more than the other. It's an OK map though I don't think I'd like playing sniper TD's on it although I don't think I have as yet, mostly meds and heavies.

Yep.  You are the only one whining about another map added to the rotation.

CONGRATS!  Have a participation trophy and a nice cookie.

I have said before Pearl River making a return that this map was terrible.  And it still is.

Now, it does not mean that one will not get great games on this map, but the chance is pretty low.

This map is the very definition of a corridor map.

I remember being thankful they pulled it the first time, sadly they didn't make enough changes so it is still pretty much the same.

If there was not a new map, then you'd complain about that, right?

"absolute trash"?   What's with the extreme terminology?

I think the new map is very challenging and a nice addition.

Always was you didn't really expect WG was going to change how they make maps specifically one that was choke point at its best did you?

I dislike the map but I would not say that one side is favored.

My main objection to the map is that it is very dependent  on how the teams deploy.  The team that deploys "right" usually wins.  But I would not call it a landslide, even if the margin is significant... as it typically takes a while to end.  But that might be just at the mid-tiers where I find it.

Which one? The one you could run around the top of the mountain or the one where they took that away.

Won't call it junk but I'm not crazy about it. Had a few games where I was in my Centurion 5/1 and that was great, strong turret and good gun depression and this map can be really fun, in most other tanks I've played on that map it's very meh

I actually quite like it. Of course the heavy side is easily farmed by arty, but that's to be expected.

It doesn't seem any worse then maps already in the game.  I've not had enough battles on it to really determine either way.  But for the most part it seems balanced between the spawns.

I don't like the map for a simple reason. I cannot figure out how to play it effectively yet. I am getting better at not getting slaughtered in my t28 in the open. nor running my wheel in into the corridor of doom. But still, most of my stupid ends are my own doings.

My personal maps of loathing are Paris; too few know how to play the field, MInes; its too small for tiers 7 and up,

I really would like a unified continet map system where each map interlinks with another map. I would love to see maps choose whether you win or lose on a map to

I have a dozen WoT accounts, "Whistling" is not 1 of them... but you keep adding to my notoriety, that's really very fine for me.

Because,

I'd love to have an opinion but WG has not seen fit to let me play on that map yet.
