Howdy Boom Jockeys!

Due to a previously unforeseen conflict with this year's Halloween Mode, this weekend's Consumable and Equipment sale will be ending early. The new closing time will be Sunday, October 25th at 7 AM Eastern / 6 AM Central / 4 AM Pacific. Please make sure to complete your sale purchases by then.

To quote Jambijon from the Discord announcement: "We're looking to have another sale before the end of the year."

Now the only question is whether that will be a 50% sale, or another lame 25% sale.

I have not bought any high tier equipment from 2.0 except a couple turbos on tier 8 premium meds until we get a 50% off sale.  Most of the new equipment is gimmicky anyway for niche tanks.

If WG wants to be cheap with me, I’ll be cheap with them in return.

When someone does the "Rise and Fall of World of Tanks," short running "sales," if that's what you want to call them, as well as short changing the playerbase with half discount discounts, i.e. 25% are going to be part of that video.

Can't log into the game this morning before the 7:00 AM deadline to purchase consumables.  Now what?

It's now 7:20 AM Eastern Time. I just tried to log in and the W.o.T. server is still not up and hasn't been for hours.  No one can take advantage of this, "wonderful", 25% off consumables sale before the announced deadline.  This is not the fault of the players, but the fault of W.o.T. taking the servers down for hours before the 7:00 AM Eastern deadline for the consumables sale.

This is not the fault of the players, but of W.o.T. How are the players going to be compensated for this?

TY for the heads up Boop but, did you know that the sale effective ended at 2am PT instead of 4am? Because some moron in charge decided that installing a patch right in the middle of the weekend was a good idea. And yes, I did find a notification on the website after digging around. It was not posted on the launcher or the main page which is what/where most players would expect info like that. Players/customers should not have to dig around for important things like that. It looks incredibly shady/dishonest on WG's part. What the announcement they gave you to post should have said was "Yes, the sale "effectively" ends at 4am PT BUT, you the player won't be to access the server at 2am because Minsk logic screw you player!" (Hahahaha! hearty Russian laugh)

If you could please let Minsk know our hateful displeasure of their greedy stupidity we would appreciate it. Also, please tell them to give us a real sale and soon, since they botched the last one like a Tijuana back alley plastic surgeon.

Trick is folks buy the consumables early once they start on sale and don't procrastinate - no ones fault except your own. I filled up my pantry with a ton of items pretty happy but wish it was at 50 percent.

Excuse me?  How is it the players fault that the W.o.T. servers were down for hours before the announced early cut off time to for the equipment and consumables sale?

In this particular case it really is WG fault entirely. First they shorten the sale by a day, duly announced both here and in the client but still, then they unannounced cut it even shorter by several hours by taking the servers down with only their usual "service announcement" in a place that hardly anyone ever visit ?

How is this anyone else's fault but WG's ?

Yes some of us has learned that WG has no clue when it comes to setting schedules as far as times/dates go and act accordingly but that's hardly any reason to blame the player base for not trusting WG on their word

You are correct on the timing of the days I stand corrected and I have again learnt that don't trust WG for anything in that way. Always get the stuff before the last day since they do like to upset the player base without much thought given.

No you are correct but again don't wait for the last day you never know what WG will do.
