No fronch tanks :(

Yet ... pending popularity of the game, of course.

Model-size seems to be similar to the old RoCo models

LOL ...

Advanced Squad Leader says "Hi" ...

$50 per module was the average - some more, some less.

Ah yes Squad lead got them all and in pristine condition now that is a well laid strategy game. Wish it came on a computer version.

*cough cough* Flames of War *cough cough*

GF9 already did a game called tanks: skirmish

My friends and I play it they stopped adding vehicles around the same time I started to hear about this tabletop so I assume as it's made by the same people it's just a rebrand to get more people into it. Also FoW and tanks models I believe(gf9 website said this somewhere iirc) are produced in the same place and are interchangeable

Oh no... I gave up MicroArmor (the original tabletop tank game for us old-timers) years ago to join WoT! My friends and I still have about 1000 pieces of those lead/pewter vehicles, APCs, SPGs, trucks, planes, helos, etc. I played the US, my friends played either UK, USSR or Germany. It was a real blast at the time, but technology overtook it. No thanks, been there, done that; this version is just a money grab to go back and do what's already been done before (and better, from the tutorial video I watched).

Being young and stupid when I was, I had built an entire Soviet MRD and an ITB, three or four American tank/mech battalions, a Marine MAB, and a couple FRG tank/mech and recon battalions.

One day, at the height of the Cold War, I woke-up and realized that modern minis bore the the implicit requirement to "keep up with the Jones's", ie, MODERNIZE with the Real World deployments in TOE.

After that epiphany, I went with WW2 minis, because like Latin, it was frozen in time, and was never going to change ...

Thus, one helluvalot cheaper.

It makes sense they would be. GaleForce Nine is owned by Battlefront, the company that makes Flames of War. In fact this new WoT game is being promoted on the Flames of War website.

I'd totally get into this if I had anyone to play with.  Living out in the sticks kinda sucks.

I had my first face to face battle but it got a little heated and I pulled a 48 hour chat ban. Is there any way to appeal?
