So back when I had the Object 416, Tier 8 Soviet medium, I researched every module on the tank including the 10RT-26 Radio, which cost just under 10k combat experience. I also had to pay silver for the actual radio. It's not a huge amount, but still I paid for it. That radio can also be used in the Object 430-II. However, when you get the Tier X K-91, this radio vanishes. Instead you get the older, heavier radio, R-113.
The Object 416 and Object 430 Version 2 both have the option to use either the R-113 radio or the more advanced 10RT-26 Radio. Naturally, I used the better 10RT-26 radio.
The R-113 weighs 80KG and has a range of 730 meters. The 10RT-26 radio weighs 30kg (50 KG less) and has a range of 760 meters (30 meters more). Neither the weight savings, nor the range will have much, if any effect in combat, but that isn't the point. The point is, I researched and bought this radio, and now I can't use it.
At a minimum, I would allow K-91 owners the option of upgrading to the 10RT-26 radio. If the radio has not already been unlocked, then you would have to grind for it and buy it.
I believe that this was a complete error on the part of the design team. The cheaper, less advanced radio should never have been put on the K-91. Since it was put on the K-91, likely in error, I strongly urge WOT to fix this issue. I would not just swap the radio out, since that rewards people who did not research it and did not buy it. Instead allow it to be unlocked and purchased separately. The only reason that no one has complained about this is because it has little effect on the game, but at the same time I WANT MY RADIO!!!!
Give me the 10RT-26 and do it now. Please.
