I've really enjoyed the new equipment and feel it is a good improvement to the game.  I'm really liking the turbo, it has resurrected some of my tanks that I quit playing because they were just too slow, now I'm enjoying them more. I wonder how much it helps the TOG?

Not to mention all the credits I made selling many of them and buying the cheaper equivalent.

OP, how did it take your fun away?

Really? I bet you're just not use to it yet.  I'm enjoying the different possibilities.  Seemed like a pain at first, I guess, but after a few weeks of playing with things I'm really glad they improved it.

I absolutely hate having to pay to Demount binos and camo nets.

Some of the new gear is effective, but the slot-ties are rather restrictive and groping about for a good eq-combo is frustrating.

Nearly all of the heaviums need Turbo, and nothing helps the American T34 anymore - I've mothballed it.

I'm down to 10 demount kits - 30 wasn't enough.

This is all about cold hard cash, nothing else.

Did you read the article?

ALL of your lower tier equipment was demounted for FREE and is in your depot. After selling obsolete equipment and reequiping everything I came out 24 million credits ahead and still haven't used any of the demount kits that WG gave us for free. $0.00 spent on the process.

I read it all, and all the threads that have gone with it ... Did you ??

You still have to match the slot to get best effect from the equipment.

And I'm NOT talking about the low-tier krep.

Credits, schmedits - you still have to pay to change-out anything.

And, everything you sell-off will catch-up to you - so you'll be paying anyway.

No you don't have to match the equipment to the slot, it still works the same way it did before if you don't, so what is the loss if you don't match?.

I also came out with more than 20 million credits after the change. I do realize that those who only kept 1 or 2 binos and nets did get hurt.

I came out OK because I never trusted (found out the hard way) that they would be on the tank when I went to play it and didn't want to have to remember to check every time when rotating through tanks.

So I guess those who invested in buying the equipment and leaving it on every tank came out ahead. Those who save credits in the beginning didn't.

Truthfully bro, nobody else did either.  We certainly didn't ask for it but someone felt that something wasn't broken yet needed fixing so it would be broken.

I was one of those morons over-using nets and binos in almost all of my lower tier tanks. But that was just cheap, lazy, bad equipping on my part. Re-equipping my lower tier tanks was expensive. This was almost entirely offset, though, by the sale of class-1 equipment from all my mid-tier heavies and TD's. And awaiting that 25% equipment sale helped. I still have more than 30 demount kits - haven't had to purchase any, so not sure why the OP's experience is so different there.

With 200 tanks in my garage, the re-equipping took quite a while. But overall, I'm happy with equipment 2,0 because there seem to be more viable choices for every tank. And I love having the bonus slot.
