I have a suggestion for the map team.

How about if each map -- Ensk, Prokhorovka, Ruinberg, etc -- had three or four variations?  While the topography and stuff remains the same, each variant has a different set of scenery, including hard cover (buildings, trains), soft cover (bushes, trees), and other things that affect tactics.  This might mix it up while keeping the challenge familiar.

It would force players to pay attention to what cover exists, rather than going to the same old bush every time Malinovka starts.

I think this would only be balanced if maps were truly symmetrical. Even symmetrical variation, if on a noticeably asymmetrical map, can have an asymmetrical effect on each team.

they used to do what you describe.

prokhorvoka had 2 maps. Fiery Salient

ruinberg had 3 maps. ruinberg, winter ruinberg or winterburg, ruinberg 'on fire'

erlenberg had 2 maps (summer, winter)
