Do you guys block maps? If yes, which ones (most commonly)?

I do not block any maps and I play as many modes as I can.

 

That's just me, though.  I might be one in every ten thousand players as a wild guess.

 

 

I have some odd views about what makes a player a better player.  One of them is learning to do well on maps you hate, because it means you've overcome some mental 'bugaboo' that allowed your emotions to cloud your ability to perform on the map.  And that's NOT an insult or belittling comment, I'm in the same camp if I fall into that line of thinking.

 

I have trained my self to dig into things that make me want to go the other way.  My experience is that this is the single best way to get good at going outside of your comfort zone, until one day, you'll find that your 'comfort zone' is always stretching out a bit farther each time you do something to the point where you seek it out.

 

I did mention I'm an odd man out in this matter.

I don't block maps.   I play in what I term as an "open challenge".   Any map, any mode, any tier, any class of vehicle.

I believe that Paris and Ensk are still the most blocked maps in the game. They are also the 2 I have blocked.

No even tho they are some i hate there isnt enuff maps let alone a correct rotation to block the few we have now. I only play 8 to 10 and have encounter and assault turned off with grand allowed.

I haven't blocked any maps, but there are a few that I just don't like or do well on.  Glad Dragon Ridge is gone, though.  I miss Swamp, Stalingrad and Port.  Hate Paris

I don't normally block any but when I was doing the 279e missions and had to roll in arty, I blocked a couple but now I just accept my punishment and play what WG wants me to play.

I blocked Paris as soon as I could. Then, after due consideration, Ensk won out as my second blocked map.

Minsk permaban. 2nd choice is either Berlin, or Studianzky (or Studzianky... or Stutdziansky.... i dunno.. whatever). All of em have stupid campfest position and mongol sideshot traps that makes impossible to move or attack. All my experiences ended in 12+min long of brainless camping until either team get bored, rushed in and get farmed by clickers in the back.

 

Paris is still bad, but usually ends quickly. So does Ensk. And I rarely get those, compared to the above ones.

I loved Swamp. It's a shame they haven't put it back into the rotation.

- Ensk, because it's so small it's not even funny.
- Prokhorovka, because I like heavies and it's hell for heavies.

Honorable mentions:

- Airfield, because there's no way to push without getting killed.
- Province, because it's a campfest and again there's no way to push.
- Widepark, because it's too small like Ensk.

I don't block any maps because there is a lack of maps in the rotation.
