Who cares? people come and go all the time. I wish all the folks who constantly complain QUIT no one is forceing you to play.

Sir Who? Never really watched him.
Really, he lost his credibility over the Chrysler K a long time ago

I can honestly say I have never heard of that guy.  I can also honestly say his leaving the game is of no concern either.

I can't believe he kept playing high tiers as long as he did.  It'd drive me insane.

A name I've only seen mentioned briefly on the forum from time to time, no idea who he actually is

This is his video btw

Nice summary about high tier gameplay.

Edit: This was pretty good too, from him.

Where do we start?

1. Invulnerable Hulldown tanks used to have terrible guns to compensate, just look at something like T32 and a like, now the best HT guns are on tanks with OP turret armor, just look at how many times they have buffed the IS7 over the years to keep it relevant and even gold ammo is not good enough to pen something like chief turret and that results in the epic HE standoffs that we saw in ranked games, if you enjoy that kind of gameplay i guess good for you. Tanks used to have their strengths and weaknesses balanced in a way where there was something going for them at least and it was up for the player to figure the best way to play them, now at least 70% of them are completely obsolete and there is a tank in the same tier that does everything better.

2. Shooting gold has become an absolute necessity, while couple of years ago you could perform as well with Ap if you knew the game well enough. Now the game is forcing players to load it before they even see what they will be fighting.

3. I'm not saying that the stun arty is worse than the one shot arty, but in a game with 3 arty and some EBR's the only way to play the game is to camp as far away from the enemy as possible. And the recent buff to the arty with equipment 2.0 is like a spit in the face for the entire game. but at least my vents got a slight buff on my mediums and heavies.

4. How does that change the fact that they are massively overpowered. either pay us 60$ or grind the game for 60hours in a week to get an Op tank to destroy the t8 mm even more. and sure they are buffing some tech tree tanks but the buffs mainly reduce the size of weak spots and armor buffs forcing even high tier tanks with high pen to shoot more gold ammo in stead of buffing accuracy or the guns in general.

5. At least you could make a [edited]effort to balance them. Again WG has the data and there is a reason we don't see a lot of the maps in ranked. Why don't i ban mines? because there are like 5 maps that are even [edited]ier. and at least mines games end in like 5minutes so you don't have to suffer as long as something like Studzanki.

6. No matter what gun are you using in order to hit an EBR you have to get lucky, while shooting any other tank you have to get unlucky to miss. The physics model of EBR's is just so broken you cannot predict where the thing is gonna be in 0.5 of a second at any range further than 100m + add to that the server hitreg and if you can't see why it's bad for the game i dont have any more time or crayons to explain that to you.

7. well I guess all the people in the comment's that have uninstalled this game just wanted an excuse as well and has nothing to do with the game they have invested time and money becoming worse. And sure they have improved some aspects like reusable consumables, they also have made some inexcusable changes like nerfing general accuracy, and many other things i mentioned. I wish i could enjoy the game like I used to, but it had degraded into play OP tanks and press the 2 key and your an immediate good player.

8.Light tanks were in a great spot before the ebr's came, fit for their role as scouts and not much more, and now that is absolutely taken away. now you can't get into any useful passive scouting positions, cuz the big brain ebr pressed "w" and was on your side of the map in 15 seconds. So now most light tanks have a role of backline support which they are terrible at.

9. Like i said in my last stream 24 out of 33 t10 games were basically decided in first 2 minutes if not at spawn sure i can make the difference in the some of the rest, but that ratio is worse than ever before. Feel free to like what you like, but don't question my motive for quitting the game. You might like the direction the game has gone, but me and very many others have not. There is a reason WoT player numbers are dropping in times when gaming in at it's peak level, even when WG throws free crapat everyone like never before.

You just said you didn't know him, then brought up him calling out WG for money grubbing with the Chrysler K?

Wasn't SIrFoch the one who blew up YouTube after Jim Sterling covered his Community Contributor drama?

SirFoch said he was done when the OP Chrysler K was introduced. Lost all credibility on that one.

Just like QB with the IS3A.

Mentalgen?...and then he says "probably my last WoT YouTube video on this channel". Seems like a need for attention. Regardless, maybe now he'll have time to get that desperately needed nasal surgery.

I think it was Wargaming that lost their credibility in that little fiasco.

Why ? He raved that it was OP. It's not even close.

Why would Wargaming lose credibility over that  ?

Didn't he quit only to come back at the start of covid so earn some cash? Maybe he did not quit, But he stopped making videos ever since the Chrysler K, Or was it the Defender?  I know one of those things caused him to be removed or he quit as a CC.

If that's what you got out of that then I'd say you missed the point.

But I think WG's response to his video is what really blew up that exchange, I agree with 24_inch_pythons, Wargaming lost credibility on that one, specifically on how they handled it.

Have only ever watched a couple of his videos. Didn't find them very insightful or inspiring, pretty like watching Claus Kellerman with an accent.

I was never a fan.  Don't even remember how they "handled " it.  Didn't really care either.

You have to understand it was at a time that WG shifted from putting premiums in the game that where slightly worse than tech tree tanks to premiums that where basically pay to win.  When the Chrysler was released it was broken at the time.   A side scraping monster that when hull down had no frontal weak spots.   Even the drivers gun which was traditionally a weak spot on american tanks wasn't actually modeled in the game it was just there.   Foch in his unique way called this out and caused a crap storm.
