Good morning Tankers,

The full guide for Holiday Ops 2021 is here!

 

 

There's quite a bit to it this year so head over to the news section to get all the details. XP, rewards, festive decor and daily missions galore! Did I mention you can earn Chuck Norris as a commander? Have fun and happy holidays everyone! 

 

Holiday Ops 2021 lasts a month, from Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 03:20 PT | 05:20 CT | 06:20 ET through Monday, January 11, 2021 at 03:20 PT | 05:20 CT | 06:20 ET. There’s also an event extension from January 11 at 03:20 PT | 05:20 CT | 06:20 ET until almost the end of January.

I didnt see anywhere that mentions getting premium tanks in large loot boxes.  Is this not being done this year?  New tanks, getting gold, Silver and Premium time is basically the only reason I spend a lot at xmas.  hope it is happening this year or ill find somewhere else to spend my sheckles....

It seems to me they actually paid attention to feedback on the slots with the "Chuck Slot" and on the gifts from the maidens as well getting better over receptions.  Looks like a fun Holiday Ops season!

These are decoration boxes, loot boxes will be in a different announcement.  Same thing every year.

Yeah, its a major cash cow for WG, they wont skip loot boxes.  But the tanks in loot boxes are a major part of the draw for them, so there will be tanks in them or their sales will plummet by at least 40% I would estimate.

It's just me...or they nerf the event??
Now is just a max bonus for credit of 40% and it is random, when in past holidays was up to 50% and not random, also the missions was more in the past

 Anyone but me think the "snowmaidens" are a bit sexist? Gonna stir the pot here and ask for some gender equality.

Hope your correct.  And hope there is something new if they do.  So far with over 260 tanks would kind of suck if all they had are ones everyone already has recieved.....

I can't use tech tree vehicle discounts. I have all of them. It's nice to give a credit voucher instead of asking us to apply immediately so we can use it when ever we want on what ever the vehicle. We asked for this last year but looks like no go on this. Sucks.

I'm grateful that In past years I've been able to buy my way to maximum bonuses using dollars instead of time. So if it happens again, I won't complain.  I'd only ask that you minimize the gambling aspect.
