The newer tanks that you give year after year outdates the gold tanks I've bought and the tanks that used to be good like the Type 5 heavy.   I'm sick and tired of trying to keep up with the newer crowd. I pay good money towards Christmas and New Years boxes, but that isn't enough!   The clans continue to get better, while my old tier 10 tanks continue to get worse.   I'm always having to go up a line of new tanks just so I can play advances!   I want my old tanks to be good enough to play against the newer tanks!   I have money, but I don't have time no more!   World of Tanks, can you help me please?

 

I'm seriously thinking about leaving World of Tanks... have played it since 2012.   I'm curious, you want new players, but do you want to hold on to the older players?

the clans keep getting better and so do the unauthorized mods. bottom line wargaming seems unwillingly to permanently ban cheaters the first time they are caught. I have been in three clans. Two had commanders and others who used illegal mods. Oh well it's made them money so they don't much care anymore I suppose

LOL these guys saying TYPE 5 was always crap probably got it nerfed along with the whiners about the 430U

Yeah, the Type 5 was nerfed but the STRV 103b is a top performer.  Honestly, and not trying to insult you here, your stats don’t support a good playing experience at higher tiers.  You might go through your tanks by tier and see where you have plateaued.  When you can play at an average level for that tier, move up.  
 

Good luck and don’t sell the Type, WG does buff tanks occasionally.

Type 5 was never good it was broken. You just got to chill and have fun. Try to not think so negative it will only makes you spiral out more. You got to find the tanks what you can play well, by the looks of it LTs ain't it.

The Type was never meta, even before the buff when it was released. It was actually one of the least played tier tens at the time.

Yeah, you just have to find a fun spot. I play way more Tiers 4,5 and 6. I'm average so I don't consider myself a "Clubber". I also play the weird, offbeat vehicles more often. I'm having much more fun. Good luck, look me up. If I'm on I'll 'toon with you.

OP..........with only ~6500+ battles since 2012, you really haven't played much..........it's takes some consistent effort from low tiers, and progressing to the higher tiers to be competitive.  Yes, lots of new tanks recently with different firing mechanics, armor and other things.  Places people that haven't kept up the game changes to understand and adapt at a disadvantage. 

 

It is, what it is...WG hasn't been designing the game around casual players that choose not to play much or keep up with things.  Bummer I guess.....good luck anyway!

All the cheaters were "Pardoned" not too long ago and welcomed with open arms back into the community... stick around for about 50 Thousand more battles it will be fine then I assure you.

LOL absolutely . too many people in a bunch of clans have given me the names of unauthorized mods. used. hey wargaming posted some ban totals but funny no one believes that. too bad. vanilla must not be the preferred flavor at wargaming.

I guess they were attempting to find something that would help you get your PR over 4000. But I am just guessing.

I find most of my "old" tier 10s still do pretty well in randoms.

 

This isn't really a very difficult game even when you're a bit rusty.

type 5 only had 1 thing going for it the gun.. the derp gun.. the 14cm gun was very trash.. still is trash.. it NEEDED that derp gun lol
