Type 5 is a joke now.. Lets fix that!

Heavy tank Type 5 tank needs reworking

How to make this Heavy scary and be balanced.. Cause lets be honest its crapright now.. as it lacks a gun.
 

15cm gun: 0.55 Dispersion, HE damage Standard Shell 1300 alpha, 110 HE pen, 400 Shell velocity (m/s), 15cm gun: 0.55 Dispersion, Premium type Heat Shell: 900 alpha, 250 pen, 300 Shell velocity (m/s).. (think of a Cromwell derp, Its a Close range brawler gun, And will need to lead if you wanna hit stuff with it at a distance)
 

14cm gun: 0.45 Dispersion, AP damage Standard Shell: 700 alpha, 249 AP pen, 900 Shell velocity (m/s), 14cm gun: 0.45 Dispersion, Premium type AP Shell: 700 alpha, 315 AP Pen, 800 Shell velocity (m/s). (standard ammo pen drop for damage, while premium is what the current 14cm needs, cause 290 is not going to cut it wg lol)
 

Armor(Front): Ports, gun-port become 200mm and 210mm plates, corner plates drop from 270 to 250 or 240, (these have the ammo rack behind these mind you!)
Turret Armor(Front), 270 turret front becomes 300mm, gets a gunmanlet of spaced armor of 60mm(so you gotta aim at the cheeks of the armor now (which is still 270) not dead center of the gunmanlet), Type 5s copula becomes 200mm (250 with the slope, Type 4 weakness levels). Type 5s ears are a weakness BTW.. not many know about them.. (160mm)
 

Let me know what you think now its now a kv5 at tier 10 (Littered with weak-points) and has a derp gun choice that’s now better then the kv2, This also fits with the game-play style of the little brother the type 4, and not a complete waste of time to grind, and hey tier 8s and 7s can now have a chance at the type 5 while feel terrified at the same-time lol, Cause tier 10 kv2.

I'm honestly not sure where to buff the Type 5 to a point where it isn't game-breaking. The first step is to buff the 14 cm premium pen to 315, but I don't know where to go from there. Maybe the 15 cm HE alpha could be 1050? 1100?

HE changes are coming keep that in mind or even wait and see when talking buffs (i.e.dispersion buffs to the HE gun and pen and maybe even velocity buffs to the rounds).

It's a bad tank design, just give it more hitpoints to give it a unique role as a tier 10 Tog, that won't be broken.

This would be my opinion. My biggest problem with the type 5 was the gold HE. I never thought the standard was too OP. But we’ve still got the HE changes they’re insisting on coming up anyways so I suppose they should get through that first.

I do miss the days when I proudly proclaimed that I'm a Type 5 Heavy player for my clan.

I agree with the wait and see here, except, all the changes listed in that article seem to further reduce the effectiveness of HE. 
If more accurate aiming will be necessary for HE to be effective--which, even with my rotten aim, I'm all for--they are going to need to seriously reduce the dispersion of many of the primarily HE guns.

I liked the old Type 5.
It was a good tank for weaker players: rotten speed and bad reload forcing one to take time to think, absurdly good armor front & back, inspired aggressive involved playstyle, very limited accuracy was rewarded, rewarded trying non-standard ammo.
It was a bad tank for better players: almost no ability to relocate or respond to changes, accuracy was not rewarded, near-zero concealability, near-zero ability to peek or angle, or duck back. Opportunities for interesting choices were severely limited.
Now it just feels like a bad punchline as the top tier heavy in the line. I look forward to seeing what HE changes will do to it's viability.

I mean kv2 has a better gun then the 15cm type 5 has so.. Dont know why people are whining.. it is supposed to be a Derp line.. and the fact that a tier 6 heavy has a better gun then a tier 10.. baffles me.. Heck i even made the counter claims of weak points all over the front and forget going hull down in it.. Its a land battleship.. very least let it feel like it.. Also im an oldie and i remember the old mm spread when tier 5s faced 10s.. cut me some slack :P

are we also going to ignore this too? Even with the HE changes it wont matter kv2 is still better in gun in every single way haha

agreed they might as well remove the derp gun and give it it's armor back because the derp gun is just pure garbage now.
