[Allied_General]

I'm not sure what's going on with these tank reward missions, but I've been gone for years. I have the primary condition completed of this mission for medium tanks, but I can not do the secondary part because it has a pad-lock icon next to it and bars me.

 

I can't progress past this point no matter what I do, so what am I missing here?

The First Campaign missions are set up as Primary (first) then Secondary. Meaning, in order to fulfill the requirements for the Secondary part, you first have to fulfill the requirements for the Primary part. So, if you want to complete it "With Honors", you have to actually complete BOTH Primary and Secondary conditions "in the same battle".

Woah! That's quite a change (In the SAME battle)... doesn't seem that way in the other ones. Definitely makes things astronomically harder!!!

You're thinking about the Second Campaign missions. They, the Primary and Secondary, can be completed separate from each other. All you have to do is fulfill the requirement. However, if you happen to fulfill BOTH requirements in the same game, you get 2, sometimes 3, times the credit for the Primary part. 

And, in order to complete the Second Campaign missions "With Honors", you have to fully complete both the Primary and Secondary conditions. It's just that they don't have to be done in the same game.
