We're ramping up towards Team Clash with Twitch Drops!

This Thursday through Saturday you'll be able to earn Dynasty Wars and EU Team Clash Commanders on the Official World of Tanks NA Twitch Channel.

Regular Drop 1: 3× Team Dragon and 3× Team Tiger Emblems (guaranteed after watching for 60 minutes)
Regular Drop 2: 3× Team Dragon and 3× Team Tiger Inscriptions (guaranteed after watching for 80 minutes)
Regular Drop 3: 3× Team Dragon and 3× Team Tiger Decals (guaranteed after watching for 115 minutes)
Epic Drop: One of four bundles that include a 1× Commander, 3× Emblems, 3× Inscriptions, and 3× Decals (a chance of dropping after watching for 60 minutes).

The commander is the part I was excited about. The rest is the same trash they ponder off to NA as "rewards"

There's a low chance to get an epic drop, only on the official WOT channel, and even then I'd have a 1 in 4 chance to get the commander I want. I appreciate the effort, couldn't have been easy to persuade your lawyers or whoever keeps opposing cross-region events in the era of globalization, but it hardly seems worth it. Would be awesome if I could actually grind towards a guaranteed commander of a WOT CC I actually watch in Dynasty Wars, instead of some animal.

Looks like there are problems with drops on todays stream. I have been on since the start and have no drops.

 

Many others are also reporting the same issue.

 

In chat the statement is that it is possible to get more than 1 Epic. However you have to get a regular before you can get an Epic.

 

"before you ask: Yes, mobile works. Drops are NA only, EU already had these drops. Yes, you can get more than 1 epic drop, you get a chance at an epic every 60 minutes of watch time. You must earn 1 regular drop before an epic is possible. If you don't get the guaranteed regular drops after 60 minutes, unlink your account on Twitch and on World of Tanks account management and then relink. Also saying Drop or Drops will get you timed out."

 

Nothing to indicate if it is possible to get more than 1 set of each of the 3 regular rewards. Thereby making it impossbile to get a second Epic.

I got a small drop immediately(?)

 

I kind of wish I could just buy the epic skins though and they could work out a percentage going to the streamers whose personas are used.

 

I think the reality is whatever algorithm they use is stingy on the drops.

Same here, on the stream from the start and no drops of any kind. Not even the decals.

That's how you read it.

 

The way I read it:

You have to get a regular drop

From that point on you can get multiple Epic drops if you are 'lucky'. 

 

But again I've always found them to be stingy on drops in previous events and so I doubt many people if any will get 2 epic drops. We're talking about 8 hours total streaming time and you have to watch for at least 60 minutes before you even get a chance at an epic which I assume means you can't get an epic in the first hour of each stream. 

 

So 8 total hours of streaming time. Even in an ideal scenario for a viewer:

60 minutes on Thursday

60 minutes on Friday

180 minutes on Saturday

 

You have 5 hours for the chance of an epic drop assuming you got a regular drop in that first hour on the first day. But what if you need a regular drop on each stream? Odds get worse especially if you don't get that regular drop in the first 60 minutes. I doubt this is the case given previous 'drops' events seemed to manage rewarding you once regardless of which streams you watched, how much you watched, etc... but who knows for sure.

 

I'd rather a partnership with the streamers involved to give them a cut of proceeds so it's not based on RNG... RNG that had people watching 24+ hours of streams to get a single garage slot back a few months ago.

I agree wiht your interpretation. I got all 3 of the Regular items and SKILL4LTU yesterday.

 

So today and tomorrow the only hope is to get 'lucky' and get an Epic drop. Nothing from the 2 hours today.

 

Let the event run its course and then put all 4 Epic bundles in the shop for those that want to get one or all of them that they didn't get for free.

Drops do not seem to be working. I got drops from Sofi's stream back in December, so I know my accounts are properly linked, but I re-linked them (and refreshed the stream because when it first loaded up, it did not say drops enabled) after the "guaranteed" first drop didn't drop to be sure, and still nothing two hours later.
