Good morning Tankers, 

 

With Update 1.11.1, a new branch of high-tier Italian heavy tanks will make their debut on the battlefield. There will be four researchable Tier VII–X vehicles in total, all with good dynamics, decent armor, and excellent gun depression angles. But most importantly, they feature a modified autoloading system from Tier VIII onwards. Let's take a look at the new branch.

 

-Carro D'assalto P.88 (Tier VII)

 

-Progetto CC55 mod.54 (Tier VIII)

 

-Progetto C50 Mod.66

 

-Rhinoceronte (Tier X)

I saw this at the beginning of October. Don't know what it's called.

 

However, this is a 3D style and the Testudo is 2D. I am going to go with the skin just being a mass of shields as suggested by the previous post. Rather like that Krakonas camo net where they should have gone 3D.

This is a 3D style and is unlikley to be the Testudo style. I think this is called 'Centurion' or somehting like that.

That's the Aquilifer style from Ranked battles made specifically for the Progetto 65. The Testudo Formation style will most likely look different.

But judging by what I've been hearing about all the tanks in the line, and specially the tier 10, I'm not excited about it. Hope someday WG decides to stop with the BS and fixes the tanks, otherwise they'll end up like the British LTs that no one plays.

 

And if that's the case, why even bother releasing new lines?

Good, high tier TRASH HTs are coming! Thanks for all rednecks who were begging for auto-loaders nerf for no good reason (besides you guys bad at game yourselves, but... you are majority). Now what everyone gets is a trash tier 10 HT with following features:

THE WORST DPM among tier 10 HTs (do I need to explain?)

THE WORST gun handling among tier 10 HTs (you may argue T57 is the worst, but it got better tank moving, traversing and after firing dispersion. Maybe it is just a tie match here.)

The second worst intra-clip reload time (second to Foch 155 and BC 155 58, but... you know, it is the 155 mm gun.)

poor armor thickness (even Obj 140's standard shell can pen its turret heads on when on flat ground)

bad armor shape (that tumor on the gun is never gonna go away. it moves with the gun all the time, including when you are using gun depression)

the second slow heat shell velocity with just soso pen (second to E100 and VK 7201's HEAT, but they are 150 mm and have higher pen)

below expected mobility (don't call yourself a very mobile heavy in preview video when you are just as fast as T110E5. I call an AMX 50 B or Kranvagn a very mobile heavy)

poor HP (2000 HP is just like a Kranvagn, when Kranvagn has THE turrent when doing guns down, much greater mobility, the best depression among tier 10 HTs, about 3k DPM with just 100% crews, one of the worst gun handlings but still much much better than yours, and the ability to empty the clip when you can just fire one fking shot with stupid 8 sec intra-clip reload)

bad leveling up alignment (suddenly lose a loader when leveling up from tier 9 to final tier. well, it doesn't mean I like sandbox crew mechanism, I hate it as well. and you feel bad when a tier 9 performs good among tier 9s when its tier 10 is a PoS)

 

To, WG, congrats on designing a tank that won't affect current balance at all! Because a garbage won't affect anything. Big brain! Nice work!

Now you auto-loader haters can live a happy life, ah? Oh, you guys seeing Carro da Combattimento 45 t? Go protest against it in here or on Reddit or what so ever. WG is not gonna listen to you morons this time. Great job blowing the tech tree tanks when these are the only tanks, which the majority can get hands on, including you auto-loader haters. Feel nice that "your voice got heard", don't you?

You don't need to worry about new tanks affecting the current "balance", when no one plays them.

Probably depends upon how it's equipped ...

 

I suspect that Equipment 2.0 is an insidious conduit for optimal cash-flow.

 

From this point forward, every tank will be designed around it.
