Good morning Tankers,

 

the latest Fair Play policy update and ban wave has gone out. In this wave for the Americas, we’ve penalized 228 accounts: 144 of these received their first warning, and 84 were banned permanently. All players who were banned during this ban wave will be removed from the Ranked Battles leaderboard.

WOT needs to ban players that use any MOD and eliminate the "shoot the messenger policy".

Please explain how with a "zero tolerance" policy WG allows for a "first warning"? ("zero tolerance", by definition, means if you're caught .... you're gone.)

He needs to achieve an average skill level first, then maybe he'll start comprehending that different voice overs don't offer significant advantage.

Ah yes, CHEATING WELL wg why not penalize yourself!? 

EXAMPLE- Lets talk about my M8A1 TD!

I worked  for a VERY long time to get purple equipment and low and behold I wake up one day to find my purple gun rammer has been removed from my tank, AND now it can't be used.  Why CHEAT us who have worked hard to upgrade our tanks?  If anything put that restriction on the tanks that will be gotten AFTER the update.  So punish ALL CHEATERS! SHOW US HOW FAIR U R!!!

Not quite, it means "A zero-tolerance policy is one which imposes a punishment for every infraction of a stated rule." It also does not allow for those in authority to have discretionary power to change the punishment

Really wish they would simply stop with the FP updates. I don't believe the numbers never will until the publish the names of those banned.

Aslains is what i use and the colored scheme for each type of tank helps my eyes and i use colored cross hairs also.

63 yrs old so my eye sight not as good as the kids out there.

not going for perfect games and i'm about a average player but i like to have a little help to have fun..

good, yes they will be removed if they are in the running for a tank and others will move up accordingly. 228 is awesome, still seems a little light.

Is there a list of penalized or banned accounts somewhere? 

Also, is this a result of the campaign? If so, are the players that got penalized going to be removed from the top 3150?

We have two players that are right on the cusp so that would be fantastic if so.

obviously you haven't been able to stop cheating for 10 years straight and all those specialized reward tanks need to be available for bonds   t95/4201 and the rest    we have all been cheated due to your inability to stop real cheaters  its only fair

Do you know, will be interesting to know:

 

-How many were detected by WG mod checking

-How many were detected by multiple "in game" reports

-How many were detected by ticket report with replay

IIRC, in the past, WG removed those players from all leaderboards, allowing others to move up in position.
