So I download the sandbox server to play around with the HE changes. I setup the T110E3 with all HE ammo, go into battle. Everyone is shooting gold ammo and trying to win the game instead of testing HE. Is it just that I'm dumb or were we supposed to use HE to give the Devs data on it. It just goes to show you how dumb WoT players really are.

The missions require you to get top 10.  Now think of how bad the average WoT player is.  They should have made missions that force you to use HE instead.

I have been testing the FV4005 with Premium HE in the  test server. E100's etc unless you hit them in critical areas no damage. I hit a Maus 3 different times one battle and no damage. I hit another FV4005 from a snipe position and one shot him. Heavy armor I think the derps are going to have a real problem.

Russian are the bulk of the testers so what you see is how RU players are. They used to team kill anyone without a name that looked to be possibly from the RU servers. 

WG isn't testing anything more than to see if there are bugs and what they are. Feedback or play isn't being tested. Unless the RU guys don't want their KV-2s messed with no matter what happens in Sandbox its going thru.

What your video shows is the plan for a nightmare of modules and crew damage on heavy armored front tanks. That is better than doing a reduced damage or leaving as it is? Good luck having a dead commander on sequential shots and a engine or gun knocked out with sequential hits. That should up the fun factor.

Must remember that you are playing on a RU server not NA.

RU has always been about the prem spam, Tier X, Bat Chat-25, team killing any non RU player, etc.

They are also the ones that do the majority of the opinions that WG respects.

Well I'm not a 3 year old but I played the sandbox this morning.  Like the OP, I played a few games in tanks with HE like the KV-2, M53/55 and BC 155 55 and the M44 to try and see if there was a noticeable difference.  The KV-2 I had shots that did no damage, especially against tanks with some armor and seem to do less dmg overall.  Arty was frustrating because there were so many EBR's and other light tanks running amuck that I did not survive one battle, even in victories.  When I did hit, dmg seemed to be a less overall but there were a few descent damage shots.  Like the OP said, almost everyone was shooting gold.

yea so I have yet to play a game but the one thing I saw was the crew skill setup. I hope it just for the SB because it shorted me 2 skills. and weren't you suppose to be able to move one crew from one tank of the same type

I can't believe that the Russians will allow the KV-2 to lose it's magic. They'll let Hetzers, Shermans and FOCHs rot,  but KV-2 is Stalin's Fist.

You have none of your normal tanks. Youre just given every tank from the tech tree each with a 3 skill crew in it for the purposes of testing the HE changes. The only changes on the server right now are the HE changes, nothing else.
