Starting today Feb 23 and running through March 1 we are running special discounts on Gold and Credits as well as special XP exchange rates.

Funny the forums are filled with threads about crews and what is, may, might happen and they toss out free XP conversion sale. It like a land sale in the Nevada desert right next to the nuclear testing ground cheap. Right after they announce they are resuming testing above ground.

Folks, I'd be careful of what you spend right now.  Hang on to your gold and so forth, that is spendable when the BM gets here, you will need it.

It is strange for a discount of such magnitude to come out on a Tuesday, Even more for it to include discounts on all game tier tanks (including tier 10). Usually only happens on special holidays.

Tech tree sales don't happen that often... I suggest people take advantage of this while it's here.

Honestly this seems very suspicious. In the middle of the week and with such good discounts? I think they are either trying to soak up more gold and credits from the Christmas special or in preparation when MB comes out so we can spend more.

Rumors are blackmarket starts this friday -  these are so effort to drain your gold and credits  you earned or bought  during holidy ops.  use these wisely.

really concerned I'll not get proper return on investment pumping crew up even if it is at a discount.

 

seeing a lot of unhappy test goers right now.  I'm about to dive in and see what's up...but yeah, very little faith in return on investment right now with crews.

Hmm !!! Unfortunately I don't see a return on my investment. With BC here this is kinda pointless Black market will be here soon then you can blow your gold but not on this.

I can never remember, do tech tree premiums come with a crew?

No, premiums purchased in game do not generally come with a crew and use up a garage slot.

On a different note, I just noticed yesterday that the War Chest (10M credit and 10k gold) has now increased in price by 40% from $100 US to $140 US. Anybody know when that happened? I wonder if they just increased it to coincide with the discounts available on regular tech tree tanks as of yesterday. If yes, that just seems wrong taking advantage of a discount event in the game itself and then increasing the price in your wargaming account. That is some nasty sales tactics!

I mean, I'm gonna take advantage of the tech tree sale simply because I was already planning on buying at least one tank. 

Anyone know, if you sell a 10y anniversary tank, do you keep the garage slot?
