Hello fellow KV-2 optics user!
I also use optics + vents in mine, but just the standard versions. The assist damage is worth more than the personal damage increase I'd get with other equipment.
However, I generally don't recommend people do this as you need to have a good understanding of vision, positioning, and situation awareness to make it more useful than the typical rammer + IRM + vents/aiming.
