i am trying to master light tanks and spec into concelment and spoting to show the most targets to my team, but whats the point when you got a damn EBR who can spin around light tanks as if they where heavys while be concentrated fire by your team.

EBRs seem to have superior:

SPEED

concelement

not much tank to hit

turning speed

cant even get tracked and absorbing hits?

how am i supposed to compete with that in my stock T71 CMCD?

also any tips on how to better postion for spoting would be welcomed

It boils down to: 1) your tank, crew, and equipment and 2) the map and opposition. There are many resources to help make sure your tank (#1) is competitive. #2 requires you to prepare for battle during the countdown. #2 also requires quite a bit of experience which @ 1460ish battles you don't have yet. Learn to poke ridges, camp bushes, and what I think is the most important: keep moving and learn to shoot on the move. Patience grasshopper....

The Pig She Flies has some videos showing how to spot in the EBR era. He really seems to make the upper tier UK lights work well. I can only aspire.

The EBRs actually have horrible concealment and poor view range. Their only advantage is speed, and they are difficult to play well.
