Arty view flips the same way it did in a earlier patch. Its practically unplayable except in the overhead view. The ground level line of site G key view switches constantly. I was going to test out arty in the sandbox but after a few times just  gave up and went to big HE tanks.

Very bad bug. Needs to be fixed.

If you are running any mods, that could have something to do with it.

I don't use mods.

I've seen it too, in sandbox. Haven't played regular art this week

You can disable this in Setting-->General, IIRC. Edit: Settings->Reticle->Artillery

They added several new settings options.

Mods have been stripped from SB server like they are on the test server.

I did not find anything in the Settings/General tab that addressed the automatic switching of Trajectory view to Overhead view for an ARTY.   This adversely affects running an SPG and I don't see how the test could have any valid results the way this is running.....

My apologies. I had misremembered. It's under a new sub-tab.

I just got back on the Sandbox server.

Under Setting ---> Reticle --> Artillery, you will find the options "show firing line indicators", "show camera position indicators", "switch aiming mode automatically", and "standard vs alternative camera controls".

The tooltip reads when you hover over it, "When scrolling the mouse wheel and reaching a certain zoom level, the reticle will switch to the "top view" or  the "trajectory view".

You could choose to leave it on but switch to "alternative" camera controls, which makes top view orient the same as trajectory, screen bottom = towards SPG, screen top = away from SPG (as opposed to aligning with mini-map north/south).

Thanks Engineer777.  I will definitely check it out when Sandbox server is up again.  Appreciate the feedback....
