I am thinking of getting a tier 8 German heavy for training, and coin farming purpose. My choices seem to be a Lowe, or a E75 TS.

Looking for input on these, and how well they would perform those functions for a not too great player.

The Lowe is pretty good. The accuracy and penetration means the gun is pretty reliable and it has useful armor if you sidescrape or hull down. The downside is that it is very slow and has bad DPM, but for newer players those things aren’t so bad. I’ve never tried the E75 TS. I will say I played the lowe a ton when I first started and not as much anymore. It’s still good but the speed can make it less fun than other tanks sometimes.

Both would be good. Lowe has a very nice gun, but suffers from low mobility and DPM. E75 TS is the closest you can get to a premium E50. More mobile then the Lowe but less reliable hull armor.

I have the lowe it is one of the first premium tanks I bought along with the kv-5 and the t34 us tier 8 heavy. 

None of the 3 have preferred MM but with the right crew and equipment all three are good. Of the 3 only

the KV-5 gets preferred MM I think check the wiki on that.

The 75 TS is generally considered a better Löwe. That's what I'd go for.

E75 TS is a great tank

My most played tank is the Lowe. It absolutely prints credits even on a loss, as long as you do even a little bit of damage. The high accuracy and pen mean less bounced or missed shots, which saves on resupply costs and helps with printing money. I did eventually stop playing it because slow heavies get boring after awhile, and joining a clan with high tier credit boosters made grinding credits effortless.

 

I have an E75TS from a lootbox in my garage just sitting there unplayed because I have a Lowe already equipped. Maybe I'll try it out someday.

I chose to go with the E75 TS due to mobility. I tend to try to flank when possible, or pick at edges when the low tier of a battle, rather than duke it out.

E75TS for wins, Lowe for credit earning. Just get both.

For farming XP and silver, the Lowe is hard to beat. It's not great overall but you can rack up damage with the gun, and the armor is serviceable if you learn to angle and go hull-down. Don't expect to regularly carry games in it, but you will pile up cash every time you take it out of the garage.

Silver is how you train crews - you buy crew books.  A good credit grinder funding crew book purchases will train a crew faster than training through a crew training tank.  If you can do both at the same time, all the better, but if a skilled crew is the goal, silver is the way to do it.

 

In eight games today, I netted 260k silver profit, or 32.5k per game, or 32.5/2000 of a 250,000 xp crew book per game.  That's the equivalent of more than 4k crew exp per game.

E 75 TS is amazing if you're okay at the game, if not Lowe is better option for you since anyone can do well in it.
