The IGN Prime Tournament has now concluded, with Starry Night taking the championship and the first place prize, with an approximate retail value of more than $3,000. The tournament saw issues – which we're already addressing for future tournaments – but the competitive levels displayed in this tournament show that World of Tanks and its players belong in the competitive gaming scene.
Congratulations to the four teams who fought and clawed their way into the semifinals, with one ultimately outlasting all competitors. The teams, in order of placing, are:
· 1st place – Champions: Starry Night
· 2nd place: Fate’s Chosen
· 3rd place: Cazadores
· 4th place: VetS
Just how intense was the action in this tournament? Have alook at this great “Let’s Play” video created by Darqueling of 1st WWPD Panzer Division.
While the tournament is over, we’re not stopping here. Many more tournaments are planned, which we’ll have more details on soon.

Tournament was fun, congratulations to the winners.
But I have a question: where's the 200 gold promised to all participants? I still haven't seen it show up yet.

Go buy one at Burger King

Unfortunately the wonderful public service that Burger King provides to champions in the developed world is not available for all of us - they do not have restaurants everywhere. (Rural Canada or most of Russia, for instance.)
