"A look at the Tanks of YOH was drawn in 1953 as part of an enterprise by the Detroit Arsenal to look at ways of overcoming traditional tank design problems. Although never built, the designs had some forward-thinking ideas and numerous fundamental mistakes."

This line has been introduced to Blitz. Does anyone have knowledge if they have been speculated for WoT?

No idea, Blitz kinda does its own thing so I wouldn't hold my breath.

It does feel like it's been a long time since a new American line was added, let along an American heavy line.

Their 'novelty' mechanic is the emergency track.

Looks like an interesting line. The turrets seem a little weak tho

So, even though it's in BLITZ, it's a US Fantasy tank line.  Bound to happen eventually so I believe all lines or all the major tech lines now have fantasy tanks, for the game.  My only wonder is when or if they will debut in this game.

If fantasy tanks are defined as no mass production, no tests, and no prototypes of any kind, only blueprints, then fantasy tanks were already present in the U.S. tree as well as pretty much every other tree.

If you go back many, many, many years and look at a tech tree image from about 9 years ago, the US tech tree was originally going to have a couple of lines which, it turned out, were never implemented. One was the 'mad inventor' line, starting with Christie and ending with Yoh.

Initially the problem was finding anything useful on them.

We couldn't, so we nixed the idea.

That said, we have never entirely written off the possibility that we might implement, stupid though the designs often were.

Sir Chieftain:

They did make the M3 Lee and the Ontos.  LOL...

P.S.  The Ontos in WOT would be hoot, along with all the frantic half-baked emergency TD contraptions shown in Zaloga's books.  WOT could make a little money with collector TD's as I don't think people would be foolish enough to grind a "suicide" TD line that had things like the 37mm armed truck and 75mm armed halftrack TD's.

Did you read the WoT article and hear the Chieftain's voice in your head? Or is that just me.

Identify this  US tank  ( I think the gun is a piece of water pipe)

That's been in the forums already. It is one of the pre-war designs. Parts of it are fake and the rest is a mash-up of the original tank and pieces of a related version. I believe it is part of the MTLS-1G14 line.

I will track that down after I get to the BP tokens date.

Yup, a Marmon-Herrington CTL-3 with a stuck on gun to make it look fierce.

An interesting choice on the YOH tanks to make a line. And certainly a bit of licence with the guns that are available.

They look like something from fallout. They'll probably end up being derpy failures like the second french heavy line.
