Hey all,

I submitted a compatibility update to my British Camo mod and got back a message, "re-upload the mod, the archive is broken". Figuring they meant there was something wrong with my wotmod file (since wotmods are just zip files in storage setting), I submitted a fresh update. I then got told "Firstly, not an archive is downloaded, but a file wotmod. Secondly, the copy folder is incorrectly specified under it."

What are they trying to say? "Copy folder"?!? Did anything change about mod files are supposed to be organized?

Attach your zip here, so we have a better picture. Attach what you uploaded to wgmods. Did you put installation instructions for the users as well? Show it if so.

I never updated my installation instructions to go with using a wotmod file - I was still referring to putting files in res_mods. I think that's the problem. Why they didn't just phrase it that way?

Right, well, I got that sorted out.  Then I realized I was getting random crashes from my mod, indicating that the data it was using wasn't up to date. (I copy one of the WG files and alter it.) This is because I have a new PC and my batch files were referring to an incorrect folder for my WoT installation.

However, now that I've made it, so far as I can tell correctly, WoT is telling me that it won't load it, and I am at a loss as to why.

I put the file on DropBox in case anyone wants to have a look: https://www.dropbox....Mod.wotmod?dl=0

When you create a .wotmod you have to make it with zero compression, if you use better compression it will not load, or don't create any wotmod and place all in res_mods/1.14.0.3/ ....

Here I fixed your wotmod: https://www.mediafire.com/file/x0o57f234t0q515/BritishCamoMod.wotmod/file

Did that have compression? I created it with 7zip with the same batch file as before, I swear, but that makes total sense. What tool and options do you use to package the files?

Command: 7za.exe a -tzip -r -mx0 -ssw -y -bso0 -bsp1 xxxxxxx.wotmod SourceFolder\*

or with GUI:
