It will never happen.  Eventually, skill based MM would lead to nothing but:  double-reds/bots/afk/suicides/bush huggers vs each other!!  Each game would last 15 mins in a draw due to in-action.

The only way a double-red or the ones mentioned above can even have a "game" is to play with better players and be carried.

No one can show that you are right, when you are so obviously wrong.

Your turn now.

Why is everyone so afraid of trying a skill based MM?

Who is afraid?

You made false statements. When you were called on it, you went straight to name-calling.

Does anyone else think this guy is running back to his clanmates to tell how he trolled the forums by getting people to call him dumb over and over again?

Again only smartass replies to a statement my win rate has nothing to do with the subject idiot.

You initiated the wounded vituperation. You also made the following statement, which is false. Win rates contract in SBMM.

Your arguments are pure [edited]and you know it nobody would get free wins just from having a more balanced matchmaker.

You then contradicted this statement with...

No you do not understand. The only reason the better players would lose more would be because they are playing better players and that is a good thing no matter what they think.

Where do you think these losses go?

Still a bunch of idiots whose only reply is to get snarky, too bad people are so uneducated today.

Another words WG has no intention of fixing something a lot of people see as being messed up, typical WG attitude and its shills.

Nothing but chicken[edited] people who do not even understand the topic, it would not hurt good players or help bad players it would just be fairer. I do not know about the rest of you but i am tired of always having the worst team and  lot of times a lot worse.

To much fun poking the WG shills and listening to them whine and say how everybody else is ignorant, they are afraid to be made to fight opponents of same skill level. Besides screwed up MM helps keep other players from getting better.

I see several examples of name-calling. As if the attempt at character assassination wasn't enough, you proceeded to double down and make it into an ad hominem instead of addressing the argument.

The claim that the MM prevents players from getting better is dubious at best considering the better players in this game got better with this MM and players new and old alike continually improve.

They get better because they are playing players who are a lot less skilled than they are. The game th better players would lose in SBMM would go to other good players who beat them in a skill based system. Seems like higher caliber players are afraid of fighting other skilled players.

Why can't you just admit that you want to get wins you don't deserve handed to you ?

I think you've identified the problem.  Since there aren't any players a "lot less skilled than" you, you can't improve.  I am sure when WG added bots, they didn't think the bots would be more skilled than a person with 60,000+ battles.  Maybe WG can make the bots more vegetable-like to help you out.

New players improve and become good players. Some players can't/won't improve. Better players will lose more in SBMM because the influence of the individual player is countered. Inept players are rewarded with better teammates. Competent players will have their team's balanced with worse teammates. That is the behavior of aggregate team balancing, and its primary effect is redistributing wins.

This topic has been discussed ad nauseam on this forum, other game forums, game blogs, game design, this game's and other game's developers, etc. There are even patents for SBMM and player rating systems. The pros/cons, player opinions, the math, feasibility and implementations have been presented. Many of us have tracked matches for years, collected and presented data. You even posted in NeatoMan's thread concerning match balance.

Instead of engaging the reasoning, you jump straight to ad hominems.
