Hello, Tankers!

After reading through feedback regarding the correction to the article for Large Boxes, we've made the decision to expand the window for compensation to the server reset of the morning following the Article correction.

 

The window for compensation of the Large Boxes is now the start of the sale until Server Reset at 4 AM Central time (11 UTC) on Dec 10th. Compensation is being processed and should complete by end of day tomorrow (12/23)

 

Thank you for your diligence and your vocal response.

NOTE: The anti-duplicator charges can not show numbers above 99. They will still be there, but if you have more than 99, you will not see the third digit.

Without even reading the post (only the title), +1 for putting out some info about additional compensations I've seen players raving about.

Is there a cap on the anti-duplicator on the client to any double digit number like 70 or 75 or 80?

 

Mine maxed to about 80 if I am not mistaken or if I remember it correctly but the message on the client was still coming in. I exited the HolidayOps that shows how many anti-duplicator I have but then after re-entering that part again, the counter reset to 0 and starts coming back up again. Does it mean I lost the other anti-duplicators without using it?

 

Logged in on the client again before posting this. Yes, it still showed '00" on that machine thing on the garage.

i received some earlier (like dawn pacific time). but I probably lost the rest of it without using those anti-duplicators.

As someone who got 150 Anti-Duplicators from the original payout, I can confirm that the Anti-Duplicator count on the Decorider "rolls over" once you reach "99". That means, when it rolls over, add 100 (or 200, depending on how many boxes you are being compensated for) to whatever number is shown.

 

And, as someone who has also completed all the Collections, I can confirm that the Anti-Duplicators ALL go away at that point. I'm still able to accumulate Shards, but not Anti-Duplicators (probably because I have nothing left to anti-duplicate).

I actually purchased like two 75 boxes ($99 x 2) :(

 

Other than the ones I used after the messages stopped coming in and the counter stopping. No other anti-duplicator dropped on my garage.

After reading the OP, I'm glad to see that WG decided to extend the compensation window to a more reasonable cutoff point. 

I was in the original compensation window, so this extension doesn't really affect me. But, I'm glad that others, especially those that have said they missed it by 6 minutes, are getting it too.

If you didn't receive the appropriate number of antiduplicator charges I would contact support. They should be able to verify how many you received. Can confirm that the counter only shows double digits so if you have over 100, once you have less than 100 you'll hit 99 again.

If you purchased boxes on the NA premium shop within the compensation window, you should have received compensation. If you have not - it couldn't hurt to contact support. You should have received something already, if you were within the initial compensation window.

no idea why you would have paid boxes contain duplicates anyway though.

Bro, they won't stop coming in. I bought 300 boxes (75 of each type) on day one, late at night before my givaway stream and I am being compensated anyway, even though I bought them WELL after the cutoff. I appreciate them sending me shards and anti-duplicator charges, but I now have everything collected, 272 Antiduplicator charges and 526,750 shards. Since it took two weeks for the compensation to happen for me, I have already collected all decorations and my Atmosphere credit boost has been maxed since three days ago through grinding dailies and getting boxes.

What the absolute hell am I going to use half a million shards on? Can we have a shop added before the end of this where we can use our spare shards? Cuz this is silly.

Simplify all of your Arnie missions, you say? Well even if I simplified every mission until the end of the event at:

1000 shards each to simplify, 19 days remaining, total of 19,000 shards to the end of the event.
524,350 - 19,000 = 505,350 Shards

What is the point of this compensation if by the time it's made, I'm completely done with the event already and don't need any of the compensation? Does anyone think that this might be grounds for a one-time refund on the boxes I purchased? I highly doubt it, but it might be worth a try. This "compensation" was ridiculous.

So I must reiterate, what the absolute hell am I going to do with 505,350 shards?

Boy, I'm glad I did all my dailies and Arnie missions to get all the decorations before I was given literally enough shards to finish my collections for 4 years EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE ALREADY DONE. I am paying the price for spending $400 every year on this event. (my mistake, I know)

Please, KRZY, Tragic, someone, please send up the line a request to make a little shop to use our shards on so that they don't go completely to waste and the shard compensation wasn't for nothing...

Credits Reserves, Crew Books, Styles, Demount Kits, Equipment, Consumables, literally anything.

Although, if I got my Christmas wish, it would be to get credits for the shards at 10 or 25 exchange rate.

I would really love a response from someone in the company to explain what I'm going to do with half a million shards that will disappear at the end of this event. I had all my work done before the compensation came through, so now I'm sitting on more than a half million shards and 260 something anti-duplicator charges that I will never use. As a matter of fact, they've already disappeared because my collection was complete.

I'm glad they extended the deadline; makes much more sense than an arbitrary 2 hr cut off.

 

I would accept a shard or anti-dup charge exchange for credits; this would allow us to recoup the 50% booster credits lost because of the delay in compensation.
