WG has "killed" the Black Market.  From now on all "special" events will be like this auction was. =/

Oh, and 45276g wasn't enough for the T59G on NA.  That was the max I was willing to bid since it left me with 25k gold left over.  All these events do is give WG valuable demographic data on what percentage of the playerbase of the respective servers are willing to pay to be special snowflakes.  Look forward to every new "it" T8 premium being $75-100 minimum and $200 single premium tanks because they know there are blue whales out there willing to part with 55k+ per tank.

Wargaming obviously has no idea what an auction is or how one works...  "Blind bidding" is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of, from both a player and a company perspective.  Do they not realize they would've made more money if the bids weren't blind?  How am I supposed to out-bid someone if I don't know what the f***ing bid is?

Again, it's not an auction.  It's "what are these idiots willing to pay to be speshul" market research.

This was really poorly done by WG. Honestly rather disappointed with how the bidding system worked. Ive never heard of blind bids like every live auction showed the top bid. This is incredibly stupid. Also they clearly lied/trolled us all on the free xp bidding. They made it sound like more tanks would be available or that would be an option of either gold or xp, but to find out only 1 tank was free xp was rather disappointing.

"Official Auction: Under the Hammer!"

Literally a giant f* you and lied to everyone.

Couple other notes the lineup was really bad with only 1 good tank the v5 and the first tank was a literal scam. After reading this thread it was just a reskin of the Tier X from the collectors section with a fully trained crew.

The V5 is a glass cannon.  The entire roof is a weak spot, not just the cupola.

And so ends the auction. Lowest winning bids I was hearing consistently were in the ballpark of 51-52k. I bid 61k and managed to finally secure the Type 59G... FINALLY. Lord knows I've fumed at missing every other chance in the black markets before.

200 bucks for a dated tier 8 with a fugly permaskin and no crew, hahahaha suckers!  Not even really funny, but sad and a slimy way to manipulate people into taking their money.

and no crew

Bruh, it's a premium, any crew it would come with wouldn't be as trained as my existing crew that I'm just going to stick into it.

Glad I got my type 59 w/o skin for only 5,000 gold last year. This blind auction is a very calculated effort to rid people of money and for those that say they are flush with gold from Christmas boxes I applaud Wargaming for lightening your load. :)
