Number keys (ammo, consumables) stop working. Exiting the game and restarting fixes it.

Clicking the icons does work. No lag symptoms. No problem in other software. The problem appears randomly, so it's difficult to test possibilities.

Thank you if you know something!

I believe you only have to Alt-tab back and forth to fix the problem, if it is the same case seldomly happened to me

Had the "D" key cut out on me the other day in game sporadically which was weird and a friend said he could only turn left.

My keyboard will suddenly stop working for a second and then go back to normal. I would guess it happens once every 100 games or so. Two different Logitech models, both cordless. My guess is the keyboard loses connection briefly between it and the dongle even though there is a direct line of sight of only 4' between the two.

It is especially fun during clan wars when it happens while you are leading the charge and you come to an immediate stop and get rammed by 7 tanks and they all yell "why the hell did you stop?"...

That's plausible. I've likely done so, but will make sure, thanks.

I would try another keyboard to rule out silly hardware issues if you have another laying around

Would usually be my first port of call but this cropping up alongside mine and another person I play with 2 days ago is odd to say the least as no issues regarding any other functions or games re: keyboard

I've run into this issue a few times myself.

From what I've seen it's because you alt-tabbed in the past and the game (for some reason) thinks you still have Alt pressed.

To fix it all you have to do is press and release Alt real quick, and you're back to normal. Much easier than having to Alt-Tab to fix it.

It's worked for me every time I've run into this issue.

When I bought my new gaming rig, I went all wireless.  Mouse, keyboard and headset.  I had exactly the same keyboard issues.  I did some reading on it and it seems that some brands work on freq's that interrupt the other components.  Went to a wired keyboard and haven't had an issue since.

I used all wired because of sporadic lag spikes with wireless setups.  Can confirm ive seen it and Alt-tab seems to alive it when I see it (super rare bug in my experience).  Ghost rounds are more common….

THIS!!!!!
I had this problem often in the past, and that was my go-to solution, just triple-click the alt, then resume doing what you were doing. I would always notice it when I hit enter to type in chat, and it read that as an ALT+ENTER and came off of full screen. Fortunately it was usually in garage that I would have this problem. (p.s. never ever used a wireless keyboard or mouse, so this problem exists on wired.)

This is a bug related to tabbing in and out, doing so causes it and doing so fixes it

Please, don't be "that guy". This is 100% a game bug that's been around unfixed forever, so no, the problem is not on the "consumer end" so don't go blaming us for it...and yes, alt+tabbing does fix it...but also gives the enemy a second or two to put a free shell or three through your tank. Not an ideal solution.

If you think that's bad.....the lettering on my WSAD keys on my keyboard are worn completely out ...just faded away.

Don't know whether I'm coming or going !!!!

I had all the keys cut out on me.  Then my ban was lifted.

Thanks! I don't know that it's my answer yet, but the others here seem to agree.

Re. Wireless -- no, I am wired, and need no batteries, either.

Its a reoccuring bug that affects few players...has happened to me years ago and is a result of copy pasting "new"game to new engine...wg never loses its bugs..deleting wg folder in %appdata% might help but it will just go away buy itself..dont bother listening to wg people who will tell you to uninstall whole game and buy diff hardware..they will only defend bad coders.....
