In the upcoming weeks there will be a new strictly for fun game mode: Arcade Cabinet!

 

 

Launch One: Railgun

July 15 at 07:00 PT | 09:00 CT | 10:00 ET until July 17 at 21:59 PT | 23:59 CT | July 18 at 00:59 ET

Launch Two: Element of Surprise

July 29 at 07:00 PT | 09:00 CT | 10:00 ET until July 31 at 21:59 PT | 23:59 CT | August 1 at 00:59 ET

Launch Three: Tranquility

Aug. 12 at 07:00 PT | 09:00 CT | 10:00 ET until Aug. 14 at 21:59 PT | 23:59 CT | Aug. 15 at 00:59 ET

This look incredibly fun, I'm only concerned about the fact it's only running for three weekends. Will there be plans to do reruns or add new events of this type on a regular basis if this turns out to be as fun as it looks?

15 v 15 Grand battle map.

15 v 15 tier 1 on Grand Battle map

I agree with you, we need more of these events.

Battle Pass is disabled in that mode

It looks like everything will work just like normal "Random" battles:

except that the games don't count toward stats and you can't earn Bonds or BP Points.

But it shows with the special missions bonds as a reward on the video.

Looks interesting, but if there are not Battle Pass points and the only other possible reward is a couple tier X missions for bonds...probably going to pass.

It could be that they meant players can't earn Bonds simply by playing Tier 10 games, like they can right now.

As for possible "missions" with Bonds as a reward, maybe there will be some. I doubt it though. I just think it's another case of piss-poor editing/proofreading (or proofviewing in this case). It could be that WG decided to remove the "Bonds" element after that part of the video was created. But, instead of editing that part of the "video", they just edited the "audio" portion of it. 

I guess we'll find out for sure about the missions when the event starts.

Was inclined to say "yuck" but maybe this is worth a try.  I think it's VERY interesting that AGAIN a mode pops up that is single tier, non-stats oriented.  I like that (it appears) you use your own tanks and crews. Thats one of the problems with Steel Hunter, walking away from all the stuff you've built up.

I WAS kind of hoping i could load a rapid fire120mm rail gun on my Locust and do some run 'n gun in a go-kart though. So ok, firing the gun would put the Locust into orbit but..that could be fun too.
