Some of your favorite maps are getting balance updates with update 1.18.

Tell me some of your thoughts on the changes.

Edit:

I wish Mittengard was brought back

Berlin, Ghost Town, and Studzianki are my least favorite maps lol

Berlin and Ghost town because of the lack of green trees and grass. Stuzianki because of the grayscale/dull colors on everything. I'm sure there are people who like the aesthetics and designs of these 3 maps, but I personally prefer green trees and green grass :p

I wish someone would fix that in some battles I can't shoot. Screw the new maps.

I'd love to finally see those so called balanced maps.  We've been promised balanced maps for over a decade and they haven't arrived yet.  As far as I'm concerned, the way the old maps were was the best they ever were, when they were originally released.  All these so called improvements have just messed them up and cheapened them to WG's goals and not what the player base really wants.

"Balanced" maps = boring maps

So you keep removing td spots from all the maps yet you dont add any places for tds to use . Its getting really annoying you have one bush a td can use on one flank of a map and now you are removing even more on some of these maps . I agree dont let the heavies get shot on there way up to  the blimp or on ghost town to the city even though i like those spots i agree they are really unfair to heavies .  But can you please add some bushes or a place for the tds to use . Now you going to have 3 tds or more all sitting in one spot bc they have no place else to go . This also limits fallback spots . So yea not letting tds shoot up the heavies from afar on ghost town , redshire , and paris ok but please add some spots they can use . Muro is losing its only useful td spot on one side of the map please add one somewhere else then . You wonder why games are 5 min 2 to 15 blowouts well its bc darn maps have no cover anymore . You move an inch out of the tiny cover left and you get blown away . Add back all around cover please and if you dont believe they have removed a ton of cover from all the maps go look at the old versions of maps to now they are wide open but its ok to add 5 hulldowns on each map sigh . Part of the reason why I love this game is the many classes you can play well removing all the cover and adding hull downs takes away from that .

There are no favorites, only less mediocre.

 

Please delete Mines, Highway and Empire Border. They were never good and will never be unless you hand it over to another dev company... You know, like a certain 30vs30 mode!

Make the map blocking function work for all tiers and all maps. Additionally, add more maps to the blocking function. Perhaps as many as ten.

As ever, it seems map changes make life easier for heavies at the expense of mobile med's and TD's.  In even tier games that might be okay but it gets pretty old being a tier 8 TD or sniper med having to go against tier 10 monsters whose armor is impossible to hit head on and who now are even more protected.

 

Don't get me wrong, I like map changes and obviously WG has the data on games to work from.  But your stated goals in some of these are all about making it easier for heavies at the expense of other types.
