I don't normally promote camouflage because it's not a high priority for me, but these G.I. Joe styled ones light my fancy because they remind me of my childhood and I think they look great in game.  You can judge for yourself:

FYI - When you select a side, you either get another Duke or another Cobra commander.  BE ADVISED that if you don't already know what Cobra sounds like and how much he talks, you may not want to select him as commander.  (I didn't read carefully and thought I was getting the Baroness - OOF!)

Yep, he's worse than the commander(s) from those anime tanks WG sold a few y ears back.

I have Cobra Commander in KV-2.  Figured that since I'm already laughing while playing this tank, might as well continue to laugh while CC's raging.  Although really his voice always seems a bit muted to me in comparison with other tank commander voices so it doesn't bother me at all.   Now for the anime commanders for the ARP battleships in WoWs, that's another thing altogether.

So I absolutely love voiceover crew commanders - for instance Von Krieger is fantastic on my German tanks.  And rotate tanks enough they don't get stale.

 

I obviously selected the cobra commander.  Looking forward to him screaming...  You are thus suggesting with his "chattiness" that he be used in more the low shot / high dam type tanks.   FV4005, Caliban, KV-2.   Any other recommendations?

...it's also a little bait and switch with the commanders voices if they are showing the baroness on the premium shop pages!

 

@altwar / Warchild...... agree, the cobra commander is good when you need a laugh in WoT (this is a game after all) -- same with ARNOLD and cabbage (even CHUCK)...sometimes I put the commanders in the "wrong" tank just to hear their voices, haha (i know, I need help)...and ya, those WoWS anime voices -- yikes!  at least none of the WoT voices are that bad.

 

....which brings me to the Mirny intro video -- the whole vibe seems different...going for some creepy comic book anime style with the girl commanders?  ...instead of the dark, radiation disaster from previous years?  (maybe Chernobyl is too close a parallel now that Ukraine is a thing?)

i like em in any tank that shoots a lot -- more shots means they talk more.....put ARNOLD in a tier 3 autoloader...he cant stop talking!!  LOL

While EU server is getting the content creator camos and commanders the NA gets all of that but... toys instead of ccs.

Incorrect.  NA has the content creator commanders identical to the EU.   For instance, I can see the twitch drop store having cc's like Skill4ltu in there.  And they are for sale in the premium shop.  I think we have exactly what the EU is showing.  Very pleased.   ie, I can get cc's using the twitch tokens, as well as a purchase option.  Well done WG...

Interesting idea!  I've had Arnold sitting in my barracks for months because I've not really figured a good spot for him.  Might be time to repopulate my Skoda T25 with a new crew with Aaahnold talking it up in that autoloader.

Played with the little green plastic army men and vehicles (had so many it filled a large box), the Bionic Man (you could look thru the peek hole in the back of his head for "special vision"  and the large plastic Shogun Warrior robots.  GI Joe might have sprung up too late for me, but I did watch some of the cartoons which were pretty cool.

Just put him in a slow firing tank and a truely evil one at that. I got him in the IS too many twos and Obj 780.

I know not too long ago someone was sad they made cobra commander to wrong nation. And that they wished they had one for british td cobra. Well now they can if they're still playing.


I put mine into a gsor td. Now it sounds like "kob -> kob -> kobr -> kobraaaa" lol he doesn't even have enough time to shout every shot
